I think a Gold Up is 30days. Basically, it would keep a donator's H/W list pinned at the top of the H/W lists regardless of Bumps/Replies/Pages/Age and would only be kicked off after the Gold Up expires.

I was thinking, maybe charge $2-3 for a Gold Up, or like $10 for 4 or something. Each is good for 30days of "Pin."

I would think that would bring in $100 extra bucks or so a month if 30-40 people want to buy them for their Magic, Non-Magic, or Auction threads...

Or instead of selling them, just give ONE away with each Month of Subscriber. Or maybe 10 each year?

O.o, I like the last option... Pay for a membership and get 10 Gold Ups.

Leshrac's stance is that a member is a member. Period. Apart from the necessary evil of Mods needed to keep things running smoothly, there shouldn't be a group that has special privileges to do stuff that others can't.
