Um...thread title...yeah, we all attend events in our areas, help MOTL ppl to meet up. Don't see it as a bad idea at all

I think that a tourney announcement thread would be a good start. See how the traffic goes before deciding if we really need a whole forum set aside.

In that case, it would probably require a "sticky" feature to keep it on top and someone to maintain the first post. If not, it would be fairly cluttered.

There's no such thing as a "sticky" feature on MOTL. As for maintenance, I agree.
