Assuming I am not being stupid (this is quite possible) we are unable to view our sent messages. This seems like something which (should) be easy to do and just makes it easier when doing deals so you can confirm what you have said and things like that. The kind of stuff you only realise when you go "oh **** I can't see my sent messages.

click on your messages link to get into the PM screen

top right click on preferences

the bottom radio buttons control if you have an outbox or not. if you enable your outbox, you can see what you've sent. Not sure if its retroactive or not.
