It would be nice to see something similar to eBay's feedback where you can see the feedback for a specified timeframe (past 30, 60, 90 days). There are a large number of traders here who have a large number of reference but whose references date back in excess of 5 years. The history is good as it reflects good trading over a long time frame. However, it is hard to distinguish how active the trader is currently. Personally, I would feel more comfortable trading with someone who has 20 references within the past 3-6 months than I would with someone who has 300 but hasn't received feedback in over 12 months.

It would be nice to at least be able to sort the refs by date. As a workaround for now, you can just do a search for 2012 and you can view the current year's references. A little more work, but at least it gets you the information for now.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. Trade them to me, please! http://tugbucket.net/tests/MOTL/The person who loads at first is completely arbitrary to the function. Wanted to load something though. Depending on the size of the ref list, it can take a sec to load a new one. Seems to work fine but this is pretty much an Alpha version. Its based on the actual ref page. The test page on my site loads some other crap to make it functional. If ever implemented on MOTL, it will be a ton faster. Not 100% sure the mail function works on all browsers (alpha remember ) Oh, on this, you select the people you want to send an email too. That way you don't have to worry about your random selected recipients being people who haven't been on the boards for 10 years. It's pretty basic but no sense in killing myself right now. questions? comments? concerns? __________________ NEQUAQUAM VACUUM Been collecting Sleight of Minds long before braaaiiinnnsss were cool.

Its harder for people with 300+ refs to receive additional feedback because you can find yourself trading with the same people so no additional refs can be gotten from the same person. I try to keep active with motl but because I trade with many of the same people who I already got a ref from I might only earn about 20 new refs a year.

But for you, is it about the ref number or about getting the cards you want? There is a break-even point when the number of refs doesn't matter anymore (at least, for me). If someone has +60 refs vs someone who has +300, is it really necessary to have the 60 ref guy send first? I mean, he already has done 60! (which is quite a lot these days) trades on here. I have a lot of refs, but have not been active much (though I have been lately) the last 2-3 years (kids). I can understand the hesitation of someone towards an relatively inactive trader over the last years, that's why I simulsend with almost anybody now. __________________ I'm a geek, you're a geek. tested on my ref list. Seems to work as you would expect the normal functionality of the ref list to be. Good job. (note: didn't test the email function for obvious reasons)
