There are many people on this forum that run shops. There are many people on this forum that go to tournaments. I think it would be a useful tool have an ongoing thread like the "The Post For Magic Stuff" thread for posting Tournaments.

One way we could make sure that only active members post there is have a minimum number of posts or refs to be able to post on it. That way people would not just join the site to post there.

I feel that every time I want to put up a tournament thread for my shop, making a new topic looks out of place and just clogs up the board. I will be deleting the open one as soon as Saturday passes.

I searched for this and apologize if it has been brought up before. Jason

Feel free to delete your current tourney annoucement and create a thread in MD for it. If it does well enough, it may be worth having a forum set aside for it.
