Im new here and when i logged in I saw a rule stating that you may not post on your own ad just to bump it up, then I go to the forums and see comments such as "up" and "bump" or simply "^" which move the listing up the tier without justification. It appears that if you are new then you will be banned but the moderators dont seem to care if "regulars" bump thier items up.
suggestion: stay true to the spirit and guidelines of this forum because its not fair to others to bump yourself.

Try reading the rules again. You may only "up" your own list once every 24hours. You may NOT "up" anyone else's lists. Breaking either of those rules, whether you're new or not, will result in a karma warning (not banning, unless you do it repeatedly).And how about you don't join a site and then immediately accuse all the staff members of being biased? Thanks for the clarification Jaz. I understand how these things get overlooked, after all this is a very busy website. I am only reffering to those who post up; up; up; bump; up up and away...all on the same day and they seem to be longtime members. Since Im new here I merely posted so I may have a human being help me understand what is goin on with this, and I appreciate all you do....

It's actually not possible to post on your own sales/trade thread more than once a day, the site simply won't let it happen. If you try, it tells you you've already posted once today and you have to wait until tomorrow to bump again.

Lemon's correct, the site doesn't allow this action on the lists forums. As for the clarification, you stated that the rules say you can't bump your own list at all, when the rules most certainly do not say that. You didn't ask for help about understanding, nor did you express that you thought it was something "understandably overlooked", you posted saying that new members get banned for doing stuff and that "regulars" don't, because the staff are all biased towards "regulars". I'm all for people asking for clarification of the rules, to ask for help understanding something they don't. I spend a lot of time answering PMs, emails and IMs in that respect.
