How about something other than New Member and Member? There could be tiers based on refs or posts.. Something like:
New Member 1 - 10 refs
Junior Member 11 - 50 refs
Member 51 - 100 refs
Senior Member 101 - 250 refs
Legacy Member 251 - 500 refs
Vintage Member 501+

any reason why?Its been talked about in motl chat, and the consensus was 'no'. it doesnt add anything, makes some people feel like spamming to up their rank, just some clutter. Refs and join date should be enough 'epeen' for anyone here. __________________

Yeah there a some members that have been around for a real long time and have like 40 refs...besides, what's in the title? I know I'm MeddlingMage, and that thror is here and has been for awhile, as has revenger, Jazaray, GLE etc, etc. ~MM __________________

Since aside from the ones you just mentioned, titles are basically irrelevant on MOTL, I think MOTL should sell titles to generate revenue. Not in a "pay this much, you get this title" way, but in a "you pay (a single fixed amount), you get to choose from these." Perhaps in a generic race/class way. Then I could be a Night Elf Mohawk like I've always wanted, without the hassle of playing WoW, which I've never wanted.__________________
