Hey, let me start off by saying I appreciate all the work you all put to maintain MOTL. It's an invaluable resource for traders, players, and collectors alike. My suggestion is pretty simple. I'm on multiple forums for all different subject matter and most sites set mailbox capacity at 50 to 100 messages. Some of the sites have an incentive that they allow more mailbox space for a suggested donation.

I think this is a great venture for both parties. I like to keep an old message from everyone I deal with to remind me of them in case I do business with them again. So I tend to have alot of old messages floating around. I can't truly say on behalf of the site but I'm sure the forum has some costs involved with it. Generating some donations might be helpful for continuing to keep the site functioning at a high level.

I hope if you can, you'll consider this option. I think alot of people would take advantage of it.

The problem with this is that it's extremely important that you NEVER EVER use the MOTL PM/IM system for important information. Far too many people have run into major problems because either the system crashed and lost messages or they accidentally deleted something they didn't mean to.

If you need it for any length of time, send it by email. Always assume that when you leave the message screen you won't see those messages again. It's the only way to be sure that you don't lose something important.

Ok, I see your point. I really should make a copy of important info either on my computer or by hand. Thanks for the timely response, I appreciate everything MOTL does.

ya know.. free email mailboxes are pretty nice size nowadays.. could just have folders for active trades, done trades.. or ya know.. use spreadsheets.. google docs is a wonderful tool
