I've noticed that you can't search for Commander specific cards like Riku of Two Reflections. Or at least nothing comes up. Is there any plan on coding these cards to be able to find them?

This hasn't been updated in years, you can't find any cards from the last 2 standard blocks either, I think AVR was the last time this was updated, so unfortunately I doubt this will happen anytime soon if at all.

Guess you were right. I am sure this other project will be better than doing the one recurring thing people ask for. Sorry nderdog , thanks for doing whatever it is they , whoever that is, assigned you to do.

As it stands, I've noticed that a lot of people I trade with online and locally agree that MOTL has dropped in usefulness over the last year or so. A major contributing factor to this feeling is the inability to utilize the search function efficiently. If people can't find what they are looking for, they'll go somewhere where they can. I'm sure that there are plenty of people on here that would volunteer to take on the responsibility of updating the card database.

Good thing we have Team Magictraders at the Pro Tour! Awesome picture to be able to put faces to the people who have let this place go. Must be making money off of this still somehow! Go team go!

Wonder if any of them are members of the site or just players at Nouveax store.

Those gleeful faces, taking fame from what the community gave them. They can't take pride in the site, they let it go, so it must be self pride for taking the MOTL name and using it for self gain/fame. It to me, to be frank, is fake and disgusting. Fix the site, make it what it should be for the people who made your store and this site possible. You post stuff like that on the front page and its a big eat shiz to people. Enjoy your false pride.

Here's a (ridiculously simple) Excel formula that can check for matches. It takes 2 minutes to set up and 2 seconds to use once set up. I use it to see if someone is selling a card I want in T/A, since there's no matching function, or when my wants are from Commander or other sets unsupported by the search function. It doesn't check for foils. In Column C, type the cards you have. You can just copy/paste from your MOTL list, but be sure to remove quantity or other qualifiers--just use the name of the card. You can even use partial names, like "Narset". In Column B, Row 2, enter the following formula and drag it down to match all the rows in Column C. =IF(ISNA(MATCH(CONCATENATE("*",C2,"*"),E:E,0)),"",MATCH(CONCATENATE("*",C2,"*"),E:E,0)) In Column E, paste the user's Have list. Here, it's OKAY if they include quantity, edition, price, or other notes. The strings in Column B just have to exist somewhere in Column E to show a match. That's it. Column B will list the line number if there's a match. Then just keep overwriting Column E and the matches will update. Hope this helps! Open to suggestions for improvement.
