50 messages is practically nothing when you figure in the back-and-forth nature of trade converstaions and staying in contact with members. Today I got a package from someone who I've forgotten I traded with and I can't tell him I got it since the messages delete. I'm learning to keep track of pending trades on my H/W or on a Word document, but I'd really like to see more space for messages, possibly even unlimited.

That's why you should do all of your final trade negotiations via email. The inbox isn't by any means stable, I can recall MANY times where it's just broken down and deleted all messages.

Do NOT count on the inbox for your trades.
