I know someone had an elf deck on here not too long ago but I cant remember the build so here is one I'm working with right now.Creatures 4x mul Daya Channelers 4x Llanowar elves 4x Bloodbraid elf 4x Nissa's Chosen 4x Joraga Warcaller Equipment/Enchantments 4x Basilisk Collar 3x Eldrazi Conscription Spells 4x Explore 4x Vines of Vastwood 4x lightning Bolt PlanesWalker 1x Nissa Revane Lands 1x Misty Rainforest 2x Verdant Catacombs 2x Scalding Tarn 10x forest 5x mountain So far it crushed an eldrazi ramp deck... i casted one Conscription and he quit. Then it out raced another elf deck. Where I ran into trouble was against Vampires... and thier flying creatures and then against U/W control... mostly agains thier Gideon. Any suggestions? I know I need Naturlize, and would it be worth running BOP's to try and be a little bit faster?

you can make your sideboard just a Nissa Elf-drazi deck pretty easily against people playing too much flying for you.the SB would have to be 3 nissa, 4 elvish visionary, and 4 eldrazi monuments really to turn it into that.

Llanowar Elves + Arbor Elves is enough 1-drop mana elves... You could possibly add a few Treespeakers for additional acceleration, but I don't think you need BoP or Hierarch... __________________ 3rd most references in Kentucky; 2nd most posts in KentuckyBlackborder.com Grading Guide

Oh, and I don't think red is needed AT ALL, but if you are going to run it, I would suggest adding some x-damage burn spell such as Banefire as a finisher (way better than Lightning Bolt just about every time, plus it answers those annoying Gideons). And add Elvish Archdruid for more mana for the Banefire. And add more Nissas because they are ridiculous in an Elf deck. Oh, and if you go to the "Deck Help and Construction" forum and tell it to show the last 45 days instead of the default last 10 days, you will find this old Elvish Monument thread. Enjoy! __________________ 3rd most references in Kentucky; 2nd most posts in KentuckyBlackborder.com Grading Guide

Yeah, Vampires was a nasty matchup for my Elfdrazi deck, too, but some sideboarded Windstorms helped to keep them under control until I could pop an Eldrazi Monument. My deck was more about mana acceleration (I was able to legitimately hardcast Emrakul in a casual game once on turn 6 or so with only 2 Forests in play) to rush to an Eldrazi Monument fed by Nissa/Nissa's Chosen, with Eldrazi Conscription and Ulamog for finishers if Garruk's Overrun ability wasn't enough for some reason. I liked Joraga Treespeaker as she can level herself up once you get her to lvl 1. Elvish Archdruids are also pretty handy if you're running that many Elves. I'd probably run them over Channelers, personally. Usually more mana than if a land's up and giving a small bonus to all other elves all of the time rather than semi-randomly getting +3/+3. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
