Right outside Pittsburgh, good 6-7 hour drive for us.

Because those that would won't stand up to you over it for whatever reason. You treated several people like crap that day (I've forgotten names, apologies), and they didn't deserve it. I don't understand why you and the shop owner don't think of that as a critical problem, because it absolutely is.

We keep getting more and more people for our events instead of the other way, so apparently doing something right.
I don't mean to say there's nothing going right, Stu. My first comment on this thread was based on AlmostGrown saying "I'd expect a tight ship and everything pristine." You do not run a tight ship.

You spent a good deal of time outside the shop with your friends. I don't do that when I run events, and I don't find it to be an acceptable behavior for a T.O. If your regulars do, then it's because they don't know any better. Yes, I was in there to help answer questions, but I was also playing, and you weren't. You should have been in the store while rounds were running.

My second comment was a reply to the comment that you are great at running events, and it was based on the aforementioned reasons.

Let me say again: it's good that The Vault is doing a lot things right, but it could be doing a couple other things far better to make the experience that much better for everyone involved.
