how will they enforce the part with the event deck.... would it have to check by a judge?

I gotta agree with some. The bannings is pretty cool for me. I would like to play with Stoneforge, as well as Jace, as well as the new mythic Equips. The prices on the stuff was just too high for me. To me it was like, Jace is good, but not $60 good. I can live without him.Any predictions on where exactly the prices on these cards will go? Mainly Jace, Stoneforge Mystic and Batterskull?

I love that mike flores thinks cawblade isn't overpowered. Yeah, when a standard deck is strong enough that it's being pretty much ported to legacy, it's banhammer time. __________________

I feel cheated. Not about values, but because I no longer have the challenge to try to beat the deck. Why should I bother when there's no challenge? Yes, I'm being serious.__________________

You misunderstand me. Beating cawblade represented one of the greatest challenges we've seen. There is no comparison to it by any other deck. This was a villain so great that it had to be written out of the story, perhaps, but I wanted to take a crack at it. I've sat through months of this garbage, trying to plot my course to victory and now I will never have anything to show for it. I can beat Valakut. I can beat Vampires. So what? Mike Flores is an idiot. If he was a Magic card he'd be Moonlace 2.0. Simply unplayable.

haha thanks for that one but caw-blade is powerful but i beat it all the time at my shop with my goblins. I use to play cawblade before new phyrexia it was good but it got stomped by aggro decks.If all your little birdies got killed and same thing with stoneforge there was no real way of winning besides you man lands and that always got tect edged. For it being now they drop batterskull while tapped out i say CRUSH or SHATTER they flip out. And im made cause i was going to make a UW temper steel control deck too with jace in it

This does not mean jace tms is now completely worthless. I personally think that it could go back to being $80 at the start of extended season so I might buy another set soon while they can be bought for $50 each. Being banned in standard only just means it dropped in value 3 months ahead of schedule.

Wizards knew what was going on in Standard. They had a chance to "fix" it. But they didn't, Sorry but Hex parasite isn't going to cut it. despise is a bad Duress. beast within is unplayable in the current format. They failed miserably in trying to solve the Jace issue. when tehy said their hand was forced it was because they didn't fix the issue. SO much for NPH being Format warping. But all in all, let's look at the bright side, they'll be more careful in the future.

Out of curiosity, what makes him a scumbag? I agree that when it comes to assessing the quality of a metagame, he's as useful as a wet sock, but what is scummy about that?

Lets hope not. Unless you really want a Mercadian Masques v.2 They should push (maybe not as hard as they did with Jace TMS), but also just own up to mistakes. Jace should have been banned 6 months ago after worlds. If R&D doesn't push, the format stagnates on its own. Its just so difficult to make Aggro, control, and combo need to all exist in every standard format. They did a great job back in Ravnica, seems ages ago.

His attitude in general. Like, he doesn't think you are worth talking to unless you are one of his friends or rated high. He walks around thinking his is king **** when he simply is just ****. __________________
