I know who owns the Black Lotus redux painting that was given out as the first place prize for the Vintage Championship at GenCon many years back. Email me. __________________ Someone from GU (Guam) is impersonating me: http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/005054.htmlSo be careful! My real address will use a 60517 zip code. Email the artists. They're all very friendly and keep records of this sorta thing if they've been sold.

Tried that. They don't have the records.

Really? That seems really, really odd.

Actually doesn't surprise me. Many of the artists don't even bother to track that, especially if they were sold at conventions.

AFAIK the artist should give the person who purchased the Goblin Mason an AP. I am not sure if they got it from a third party or not. Shuler gave me 2 APs with my art. -Matt

Should, but it isn't required. The artist might have sold off all the proofs cheap and sat on the original for a long while, who knows. I'm sure if you gave a brief mention to the painting and how it was obtained you should be able to easily acquire the proof if the artist still has any remaining.

I've contacted Tony and the gallery about APs. He will be making an appearance locally next month so I am going to try and set something up then. Meanwhile, if anyone has a lead on a Spanish foil Goblin Masons I would be forever grateful. :-) __________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winnerhttp://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html

Fantastic pieces! One day I'll finish paying off my college loans and then I'll have more disposable income to throw into my collection. I've always wanted an original from Greg Staples.
