not sure how much constructed play it can see, but in limited this card is pure stupid. Going to be scary to play against.

So, they moved a pseudo-Yawgmoth's win into red and added a mana to the cost. Seems nice.At least you can't replay Lotus/LEDs off of it. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

I'll say it again this set only has art the cards just suck so bad. I don't even think a reprinting of Tarmogoyf can save this set so far.

Heartless Summoning 1B Enchantment Rare Creature spells you cast cost 2 less to cast. Creatures you control -1/-1. -----------------------------------------------So that looks pretty good. I know it's a god hand, but 2nd turn this, 3rd turn the new Demon, 4th turn Titan or Sphinx

I think the upside on that enchantment certainly outweigh the downside. I'm just not sure you can build a deck around it as your deck might fall flat if you dont get the enchantment opening hand.

Yea, seams like a gettho ritual plan. You need a god hand to make value of casting the big creatures early, but if you don't make it out of the gate, it does absolutely nothing late game, unless you could work out some kind of way to profit off of bouncing, casting, bouncing.

set looks pretty fun and while it may boost values of cards from other sets, it's not looking very profitable on a stand alone basis. Then again, as ZEN rotates out the prices should go up quite a bit.

Think of it like a chalice of the void for 2 that costs 2. Doesn't require much of a good hand to take advantage of that in Standard.

Could Reckless Waif // Merciless Predator (see above) be a reasonable standard candidate, or is it too wonky mid/late game?EDIT:/early game...already kind of fell out of love with it.

I'm a little shocked the full spoiler is not yet known. I guess people are a little gunshy after the crackdown from the NPH leak.__________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

It looks terrible. Against another aggressive deck, it's just dead. In the mid game, it's terrible. In the late game, it's a 3/2 at best. If you're in the late game with a deck that plays this, you're probably dead anyway. I think at best it's a sideboard card against control decks, and even then they can just cast ponder/ mana leak / whatever in the early game and you're boned with your crappy little 1/1.
