Yea.

So just block and then switch life before combat damage is dealt.

The toughness never changes (well, except for Twisted Image type spells) so it would be 13.

Tempered Steel losing out Ornithopter hurts a lot more than people realize. Now they just have Vault Skirge for evasion.

A triple Memnite draw isn't that threatening if you have turn 3 Blade Splicer. Vault Skirge + Porcelain Legionaire + Tempered Steel hurts but I think you should play at least a little removal (even though you want to limit your non-creatures in Pod).

Agreed. Yet as far as limiting my non-creatures in my pod deck I have done that. I've just got a few 1 of's (most of them creatures for specific threats) and only 8 spells that are non-creature/non-pod. I was thinking of cutting it more but I like the ratio as of now.

I have 2x O-Ring and 1x Venser, the Sojourner in the main that I might cut for more creatures. Currently have 24 creatures in the main. A lot of which most people would not guess.

EDIT: I will tell you this.....I'll punch a baby in the face for 1x Mirror-Mad Phantasm if anyone wants to part with theirs from the pre-re.

Anyone know which card is the one with Liliana sitting in the chair with her legs crossed? Looks like it's only for the booster box like the New Phyrexia alien on the booster box.

Squadron Hawk basically made Spined Thopter unplayable, but with the S.Hawk rotating out, Spined Thopter might be viable again, especially if you play the blue splash with 4 Seachrome Coast + 4 Glacial Fortress. Blue would give you access to Ponder to search for Tempered Steel and Mana Leak to stop Day of Judgment on turn 4.

Care to share your list? I've been working pretty hard on bant-pod lists, but feel like something is missing.

Anyone have anything to share about cards I should pay attention too in sealed tomorrow? I know Gatstaf Sheppard is an excellent 2 drop and Brimstone Volley has been mentioned too.
But is there other stuff I'm missing or need to know?

Also, I like Bloodline Keeper//Lord of Lineage. A lot.

Feel free to pm me and I'll send you the list. It's a work in progress with with about 8 moving parts still and no SB yet. Other than that it's pretty solid as to what I think I'm gonna try and play.
