Is there a market out there for token cards?

There's a bit of one for the older tokens (when tokens were issued promotionally rather than in packs). I've listed my tokens on my H/W list for a few weeks now, and they've seen zero action (but I've been trading quite a lot). My suspicion is that you can probably do some fairly decent trading with your tokens IRL, but that most people online aren't really willing to trade anything other than some largely useless cards for them. There are a few people here who list specific tokens that they want, but not many (and I don't think the trade matcher recognizes them, so that makes it a tad harder to trade them).__________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Usually just the mythic tokens. Commons especially are just throw away items all too often.Unglued and player rewards tokens do have value tho... as do a lot of those random non-wotc tokens.

I don't know about any M10, or M11 versions but the Lorwyn Avatar token that went with Ajani Goldmane is pretty hard to find. Also, I think maybe the Godsire token as well. __________________ PMs don't work in Chrome or Firefox 4.0+, see HERE for work arounds.

what about tuk tuk the returned token? I can't seem to give that away. I figured a collector would want it.

The sliver token from Legions is about $5 or so, oddly worth more than the card that creates it (Brood Sliver, not Queeny).

Squirrel tokens are worth quite a bit, both the odyssey player reward tokens and the unglued ones.

If ur looking for specific tokens, have u tried the Motl Exchange in magic discussion? if ur wanting to unload tokens, the exchange might help w/ that as well (I sometimes look for token cards). u can always google mtg tokens, see what it kicks also.__________________ Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! The Magic Librarities website is a good place to document your non-WOTC and promotional WOTC tokens. As far as rarity and price, most are thinly traded (As one of the biggest Crazy Clown or Minagishi collectors around, I can say this with a lot of experience). Ebay can get you in the ballpark, but final pricing is up for negotiation. Only a few, liked the Unglued, have any kind of pricing on the bigger MTG websites.
