I'm a new user and this is even my first post on here, all I'm merely doing is getting other peoples opinions on purchasing cards from other players on the forum. I've never done any Paypal or anything like that outside of Ebay, and I've seen people on the trading forum ask people to gift them money rather than another option, is gifting money a more risky way of doing this, I know there is a forum section specifically showing people who have stolen money or cards form other players on here, is there a forum where it shows people who are notable good traders? I wasn't very sure as to where to post a topic like this so I figured I would put it in "General Topic". If you have any tips on a new buyer/trader/seller the wrongs the rights, I would gladly hear it. By the way my Name is Cornelius Nice to meet you.

Gift is more risky option because you cannot file a claim with paypal. There is no good traders list, but look under a persons name and you will see the total references. Clicking on confirmed references will list you to everyone they traded with, whom you can send an email to asking about the if you like, or read comments left about the trades that user has done. You will notice after a while there is a lot of reliable sellers who have been on here for a while. __________________ Want Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and other vampire females oddities (foreign foil crimp miscut misprint sign testprint alters etc)My Saleslist Wants

I would confirm the edition and condition of the card(s) you are purchasing prior to confirming the deal. Around here the Buyer is generally responsible for any fees, so offer to pay the 3% or 4%, it is worth it to protect yourself.I would also recommend confirming all deals via email, as private messages are auto deleted after your box hits 50. If you ever require evidence for a BTA case, the emails will provide a more stable archive.

When you are checking somebody's confirmed references I recommend checking that some of them are recent. A popular way to scam people is to hijack a dormant account.
