This is at least the second link to an mtg salvation thread that doesn't work, or at least won't work without me logging in (I don't have an account). Do their forums do something funny to block external linking?

They seem to be a newish operation for the online retailer thing, but as mentioned earlier, they aren't scammers.

In short they oversold last years commander apparently. Then they strung a number of people along about still having more coming from other stores. Eventually most of the people strung along gave up and got refunds.

These decklists actually look pretty weak. Only the grixis list looks to have decent value. Also kinda disappointed that flusterstorm and shardless agent weren't reprinted. It really doesn't help that all of the commanders are fairly weak.

I like the vampire commander, which is the only real reason I am interested in purchasing it. I collect rare and legendary vampires. I believe that I already own almost every card in that deckWill dealers be sellin any of the commanders separately?

I'm pretty sure I saw them on one or two sites at least sold separately. I just can't remember which ones.

MSRP is $29.99. Some of the online sites are asking between $35 and $40, but they should be pretty easy to find at $30. Check Wal-Mart after the release date. Not sure about other areas, but it takes a couple weeks before these hit the local store shelves. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. I doubt they'll be sold for $30. Whichever one has True-Name Nemesis is pretty much guaranteed to be higher. =/__________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. That depends entirely on where you get them. In hobby stores, yes, they're likely to be higher-priced. In places like Wal-Mart and other stores, they'll be $30. I bought quite a few Rat's Nest decks to flip from Target over a 6+ month period because they always sold the pre-cons at MSRP. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. fantastic, I will check some card sites to see if I can just find the commander. Much better than buying a deck of cards because I want one card

I really wish Jeleva milled instead of exiled so it would have way more synergy. At least I can sort of hate out graveyard strategies with it. __________________ The Mana Source

Side note. If we live in an Area Where these are unobtainable or hard to obtain is eBay the best way to obtain it? usually ebayers charge redic postage for non USA. Can we tee up orders through fellow motlers or does motl forbid solicitation?

Are shops in Oz really that badly priced? In Japan these sorts of things usually go for straight retail from most shops.

Define "ridiculous" postage. I mean anyone who could order it here may have to pay a similar amount for postage.

That part is actually true. Ebay sellers often charge far above the true cost of shipping outside of the 48 continental states even when they offer free shipping inside the US.

Walmart in Calgary had these last time so I don't see why they wouldn't have them this time. I am assuming if one has them then all will have them. They were $39.95.

$200 for a set of 5 seems outrageous. Almost worth it to buy a PO Box at the 30-minutes-away US Post Office.
