I've shipped out over $2000 worth of cards, and I have never had this happen.

I wish there was the option on Pucatrade to select which countries you will accept cards from... or if they are out of your home country, have the ability to 'approve' their send before they can send it.I wouldn't be happy to wait two weeks for a card to arrive in domestic trades, so unless it is a tough-to-get card, I'd rather not have to accept waiting the extra time for it to come internationally. Not a big deal, but still bugs me sometimes :-)

I agree with this. Been waiting for a card from Brazil for about three weeks now. Not a big deal since I don't need it for a deck or anything, but I can see where this could be a problem if you need the cards fast.

They don't. I've had people send me 100 pts total worth of sideboard cards in a PWE. It's not something that I would do, but I appreciate that others are willing to send $1 worth of cards for $0.50. If someone sent a PWE to you, would you claim did not receive?

No, but I would assume at this point my online rep at places I do business regularly (or previously regularly) would make me trustworthy enough for that to not be a concern.

Wow, they "gave me a chance" and transfered 12000 points from my 300 (yes, I'm at minus 9000 points) to the guy who claims he "lost money" over this -_-I think I'll send all my trash to get a bunch of shocks and then close my account myself.

Practices like that is what will eventually get Puctrade, Injecting points into the system without taking an equal amount out somehow, I mean the points value relative to $ has already dropped significantly, and the owner seems very blind to this or is just hoping it goes away somehow, lol.

I've been waiting for 24 days for a package to arrive from freaking Seattle. Probably safe to say he ripped me off.

They could have not sent yet but clicked that they did. I had one clicked "sent" on 01.02.16, i got it on 01.22.16. Post marked 01.18.16. But, with PucaTrade it's a got it or didn't thing. So if it's really late, no recourse.

If you are the receiver, you can simply open a case and get your points back, if they have no proof of sending. Since they don't get the points until you confirm receiving, there is little motivation to them to try to scam sending. Unfortunately, the same is of course true if you are the sender (as discussed earlier in this thread), that if you send without tracking you are at the mercy of the receiver's honesty. That said, I've had little to no issues with people being honest about sending/receiving there. Just occasional slowness or card condition issues.

Of ya know, the post office ****ed up, which has happened to me several times. It took a month for a foil Deathrite Shaman I sent to arrive to the recipient, even with tracking. It was lost in the Atlanta sorting center most of that time. I had the same thing happen shipping some stuff to Virginia, stuck for six weeks while it bounced between two different sorting centers. I've had two lost incoming shipments, one "lost" incoming that I can pretty much guarantee the guy never shipped (Guy claimed he found 16 Force of Wills in his uncles basement, said he didn't know what they were worth, and shipped it untracked...lol-worthy), and a handful that the post office damaged. Be mindful that the USPS is staffed by people who couldn't hack it at McDonalds.

Had a card come from CA during the Christmas holiday. About Jan 4th or so he wrote asking if I got it. I hadn't. i told him I'd wait until Monday's mail then ask on NextDoor to see if it was delivered to the wrong address. Some guy down the street ( one of the neighbors I don't know) said it was delivered to his address, my name but his house number. He didn't know me so he put "not at this address" and put it back in the box. A few eeks later he still never got it. I went by my local PO and of course they told me what i already knew. that it would never go to that PO but back to the plant and back to CA. Week and a half later, he wrote again, nothing. then he opened a case. At this time, I think that the admins can see the case thread. I clearly explained the situation in all my replies. A couple more days they refunded my points and told him basically, use tracking.Although, if I'm correct, tracking would only be one way. They said it was delivered to the recipient. That's it. I don't think it gets re-tracked on a "return to sender." TL;DR user error

Tracking only shows if it has been delivered to an address. Without registered mail there's no way to certify that the correct person actually got the mail.I've had the post office scan something as delivered and then it showed up in my mail box a few days later; possibly, because they gave it to a neighbor who found it and then put it in my box.

Someone sent out cards to my oldest son on November 23rd. 3 weeks later he opened a case and got his points back. February 5th the cards showed up. 2 month mia. I mailed them back on my sons behalf. for all the worries that puca artificially adds points to the system, has anyone ever considered that points leave the system as well whenever cards spike?Think of all that eldrazi stuff that got bulked and then spiked?

No points leave the system at all. When a card spikes I wouldn't magically get more points because I own, traded, or traded for the card. If it spikes it then just costs the buyer more points, but no new points get created.

quote: And for those that don't know, they banned the selling of points so that should be a warning sign. They started in the .90s and now are .65. The reselling was causing part of it, but if you can't sell something for cash it will be hard to cash out.
Someone made a web site, that would make selling of Puca points easier and safer than using reddit or facebook. Puca for obvious reasons, for one cutting off a revenue stream.. didn't like this, so they banned the reselling of points. I believe selling on reddit is still going on. Puca isn't for everyone, but it has been great for me. I got a Workshop and Bayou last week and Candelabra of Tawnos is in the mail. At one time, I was a very active trader on MOTL.. but I am doing way more trades then ever and it is easier than MOTL I still think a trading site like MOTL has a place. I can't buy stamps with Puca points. MOTL should fill in the gaps that Puca can't handle well... cash trades and trading staples for staples.

How the hell are able to get dual lands on there? I've had 3 dual lands wanted for like 6 months and not a sign of getting them. ( cept for one idiot selling them with a 300% markup). And I'm still waiting...

Slightly off and on topic, just for the hell of it, I checked PucaTrade to see what my remaining (free) points balance was. What is 14 points good for? What is the best card I can get with 14 points?

I have also moved to Puca. I place 15th in over sends after 6 months. I get to send as many cards as I want whenever I want. I never knew how much MOTL was a tedious grind of back and forth with traders to get a deal done. It was even harder when you post a list a multiple traders want the same cards. Puca keeps my entire list updated when trades get made. Puca saves me like 10 hours a week. In order to get dual you have to offer a certain percentage of bonus points for less them NM.

I got Duals from a very nice sender who in the past hooked her up with some foils. We both live in Japan, so sending was fast and a bit cheaper than doing an international trade.

I would put money on that sender being that couple who write erotic fiction. I got so sick of seeing constant retweets from them on the Pucatrade Twitter account.
