Hi ya! After buying almost all Homelands boxes i could find, i built a deck for T1 tourney i was waiting for. Here is the decklist:

3 Goblin Hero
6 Steal Artifact
24 Counterspell
4 Eager Cadet
8 Regeneration
1 Twiddle
2 Aladdin's Lamp
1 Island

As you can see from the decklist, the idea of my deck is to kill with Goblin Hero or Eager Cadet while controlling the game with my Counterspells. Regeneration is there to remove other creatures from the game. As i thought, i faced a lot of green burn decks and blue goblin decks, so my Steal Artifacts were useful. Here is how i went:

Match 1: Against a boy who looked like he had a cactus in his back pocket.
Game 1: We flipped the coin, i lost and i chose to go first. I was, however, a little mana screwed, but it seems that he was too, and he mulliganed. I decided to keep, i knew i could draw some mana when i'd need it. He got a bad hand again, and remulliganed. And again. And again. And again. One more time. He still got no land and conceded.

Game 2: He went first, and played a Sulfurous Springs. I still got no land but i decided to keep. He played a City Of Brass. 2 Dark Rituals. Yawgmoth's Bargain. My turn. Still no land, and gave him the turn. At the end of my turn, he drew 19 cards for 19 life. Then, on his turn, he accidently tapped his City Of Brass to cast a Dark Ritual. He died and i won.

Match 2: Some guy who ate pizza all the time.
Game 1: He comboed me to death on his 2nd turn.
Game 2: He got his combo off on 1st turn, but then he choked on his pizza and really died. I got a bye.

Match 3: Against the shop owner, i don't want to say anything else.
Game 1: His burn deck worked well and i died on my 4th turn.
Game 2: He got a phone call from his wife and i heard that his house is on fire. He left so he could rescue his cards and so i got another bye.

Woohoo, i went 3-0! Now i only got semi-finals and final/bronze match left.

Semi-Final match: Against that cactus-boy.
Game 1: He gots turn 2 Bargain again, with a City on play. Now he carefully sets his City aside so he won't accidently tap it and draws 19. Nevertheless, i draw my island and tap his City with Twiddle and win.
Game 2: After game 1 he ripped his deck apart and he was disqualified. I got a bye again.

Final match! Against that pizza guys brother, who had sworn to revenge for his brother.
Game 1: He comboes me to death on his 2nd turn.
Game 2: Before this game i ordered a pizza. I asked if he wants too, and for some reason he lost his mind. He tries to beat me up but luckily falls over and hits his head on the table. Seems like another bye!

Woohoo! I won the whole thing! I knew my deck could do it, and now another store owner says that he will give me a box of my choice. Of course i chose Homelands, and for some reason all those guys there start to laugh. Oh well, i know i have a great sense of humor, so i just take my box, bow to my audience and leave.
