Thor 2 appears to be coming in 2013. What about the Avengers movie?

I didn't see Iron Man 2, and the extra scene after the credits of Thor show Nick Fury, Dr. Eric (Sevig?) and Loki! Now I want to see Iron Man 1 (again), and then watch Iron Man 2.

New movies I want to see:
The aforementioned Chronicle
The Grey
The Devil Inside (which I hear is not that good)

Thor was great. Well-paced for not having much action in the middle. Kenneth Branaugh will not be directing Thor 2.

Captain America is the best superhero movie since Iron Man 1 or Spiderman 2. Stanley Tucci's limited role is awesome. Hugo Weaving is awesome. The only part of the movie that sucked was the forced love story. But you're not there to see that anyways.

The Avengers comes out May 4th. Directed by Joss Whedon (of Firefly and much more fame). Whedon recently said that The Avengers will be primarily from Cap's perspective.

Iron Man 2 wasn't as good as the first. Very similar to the 1st when it could have gone above and beyond.

Hell, even the scene when he's underwater and the only light is the fire above the ice is fantastic.

One thing I really enjoyed is the decision to break with the action film cinematography trend of using smash cuts thrown together so fast and densely that you literally can't tell what's happening until the sequence is over. The Bourne films started it, and everyone since has been following it. But Skyfall's single-shot fight sequence in the skyscraper was beautiful, and plenty - if not more - intense, because the combat had, y'know, actual flow to it. Upper hand would be gained and lost and you could keep up with it.

Oh yes, I didn't mean those were the only beautiful scenes. The movie is replete with them.

And totally agree about Skyfall. The scene in China that looked like a neon hall of mirrors was incredible. I loved that it was a homage to previous Bond films, in story structure, style, and the 5 or 6 direct references.

I liked the movie and it had some good creepy scenes + it ends badly (I love bad endings ).

Anybody else saw it?

A really good Akira homage

I love the camcorder-style movies and this is one of the best. For 10M it looks like a 50-60M budget movie so they did a awsome job.

P.S. The producer told the press himself that he was inspired by Akira.

P.S.2. I can get you a copy for 4$ at my store (pre-viewed) and I can personnally buff it to make sure it's like new

Well.. I actually didn't really care for Chronicle. :-\ It was waaaay slow for too long and I don't really care for cam type movies like that.
