I like beef stew and clam chowder a lot. Most things my wife makes are really good. I don't hate her risotto even though I strongly dislike rice.

I was walking with some friends, and they were talking about playing Magic. One of them mentioned Unstable Mutation, and I thought the name was cool. A little later on I asked one of those friends to show me how to play. Then, on my 8th grade field trip to NYC, I bought my first ever booster packs, 5 Fallen Empires for $.99 each from Electronics Boutique. This was the end of April in 1995.

You may know that I hold a B.S. in mathematics. By no means am I an economist, nor do I really know anything about our economy other than what your average layperson could say. Greed is the major problem, imo, but there is no way to fix it. (To expand, all these people keep saying "let businesses be businesses. We will hire people and not keep all our extra money" and I don't believe them.)

I bought the precons and had fun with them. In general I dislike having more than one opponent.

Any vanilla 3 mana 2/2 guy.

I haven't read the books enough to have a favorite planeswalker. I think Teferi is my favorite legend.

I'm a believer in picking up cards if I need them, and not trading or selling them so that I have them in the future to build other decks with.

My favorite moment is the one where PD thought he read a subliminal message in my post that wasn't there. Because of it, we caught two of the three mafia. It was hilarious to us because I had no idea I had put the 10 at the bottom of my post.

I'd like to meet pretty much any MOTL'er, past or present. Then I could compare e-peens to real ones. Wait... that's not what I meant. I meant compare e-peens to the real life representation of an e-peen. Yeah, that's it.

As for a Top10... meh. I know who I like and who I'm not particularly fond of. I don't feel like listing 10 people. But you'd be on it if I did.

I watched some of it. It was weird to root for the Cowboys. As usual, Tony Romo is an assclown. Yes, New England is going to win the Super Bowl this year. And next year. And last year.

What's the inspiration for your handle? If it's your name, cool. >_>

It is, in fact, my name. When I chose my handle, I was struggling with the idea of having a handle. Why couldn't I just be me? I wondered. So, I decided to be. If I could rechoose a handle, I would either stick with this or go with MafiaBass. I used to wear a long coat which made it look like I was mafia, and I always wanted to learn bass guitar. I liked the way the two sounded together, and that's been my handle ever since. I use it on a couple message boards, but not really on AIM anymore. It's also my Facebook page's title.

I believe we should have a second administrator. This is absolutely nothing against Inca911 or Leshrac, who do their jobs perfectly well when able to. But I think we should have someone who can perform the needed changes on a somewhat regular basis. Note that I didn't say we needed one. I like MOTL the way it is, and am not suicidal over the price guides like some tools.

5. What is something that you feel that you are better than most other people at doing?
If you look at the A-Team, for instance, I believe I compare to Hannibal. I am certainly willing to put in the work, but I'm more of a brains guy. Can't do both at once, unfortunately.

Depends. By really, are you asking if I'm very annoyed (no), or if the questions actually annoyed me (a little, but I'm over it).

I've never really been a flowers guy. I don't really do cards, either. Every once in a while, I surprise her with something. I don't think I'm very romantic. But I do have something planned for our first anniversary weekend. Cant tell you in case she reads this.

I took Lindsay to see Sex and the City without being prompted to, and it was hilarious. There are some chick flicks I don't mind, some I like, and most I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. To be honest, it depends on what mood I'm in as to whether or not I'll take her to see a chick flick. but she's also not usually that into them. so I lucked out a bit.

Only the cooking ones, like Master Chef, Chopped, and so on. When I lived with the parentals still, we would watch the older VH1 reality stuff. I also really like The Apprentice when it debuted, but don't watch it anymore. I've been subjected to America's Next Top Model before.

I collected those Taco Bell packets that said "Will You Marry Me?" for over a year. I could have cheated and just grabbed a bunch at once, but I didn't. I packed them in a box with the engagement ring, then wrapped it. We went on a mini vacation to Baltimore in August '09 (the one where I saved a baby's life), and I brought the "gift" with me to give to her at the piers. We were behind the Aquarium, I believe.

8. Why did you choose to study mathematics?
At the end of my third year, I was told I had to pick a major. I didn't really know what i wanted to do, but I was closest to a math degree. I had declared a math major in my second year, then went back to undeclared. Took me five more years, though most of that was part time.

The math degree at Fairmont State is designed to get you ready for grad school, but I never intended to go. I don't really use it from a literal standpoint. But the sciences get you to look at things in ways that maybe you didn't look at them before. I am a much more well-rounded person because I had the opportunity to study them.

9. Do you feel its appropriate to use a superlative descriptor for a member of a set which has a cardinality of ONE?
Only if you're trying to be humorous. E.g., I'm the coolest JoshSherman on MOTL (I got that right, right?).

I think in its own way, the strip does say that. I'm not going to lie. I read that strip, and I thought, "You know what? I AM better than biology." I don't think I can properly convey my disdain for biology.
