Nah, Punk wins with the help Lesnar to set up Brock vs Rock 2 at WM. IMO.

That sounds good. Looking forward to watching the Rumble

I thoroughly enjoyed the Rock and sock reunion.

They're setting up Cena/Rock 2, Lesnar/Undertaker (already an issue to build off of), and Punk/Ryback for the title at WM

Did they touch hands? Fist bump or something?

Okay i watched most of the special Raw

loved the gimmick and Sound Bytes bits

loved the hell no segment with therapist, have a feeling they may drop the belts soon though

i dont see cm punk dropping the belt yet, so shield will most likely interfere at royal rumble.

I have gut feeling Cena will win Rumble to set up vs Punk at Wrestlemania

As for Show vs Del Rio i think he holds on to the belt. Its also a good storyline but wwe wont do it, have dolph ziggler cash in money in the bank at royal rumble. I figure they will have it done before wrestlemania

not impressed with the miz/flair segment or punk vs brodus clay

No on The Shield interfering in Punk vs Rock. Rock doesn't need to be protected like Ryback does, so having the shield run in makes no sense. Punk wins clean to set his match at WM vs Ryback.

They're going to start setting up Rock/Cena 2 for WM which means Cena won't win the RR. They've been setting up Punk vs Ryback for months. They had to start the feud early because of Cena's injury which why they've had Punk win via interference and ref screw job. Besides, Cena winning makes no sense storyline wise.

Yep. The Cena/Rock build up probably won't start until after EC.

Ryback is NOT WM Championship material. Period.

Sure, he's got the crowd on his side. He's powerful. He's got OK promos. But I still have yet to see him prove himself without stipulations (i.e. TLC, HIAC, etc.). Every one of his matches, for the most part, has had outside interference (I understand that's all part of his storyline, but yeah).

He's just not on par with other WM Main title belt caliber wrestlers, such as Cena (I know, I don't really like Cena, but that's more with his persona than in ring - the guy can put on a good match), Ziggler, Taker, HHH, Orton, Daniel Bryan, Del Rio, Jericho. Hell, I don't even think he is on par with Rhodes, Sandow, Barrett.

I just don't think he's ready yet, for that big of a stage this early in his WWE lifetime. Ambrose and Rollins are more equipped than him, IMO. Look at the cards for the past 5 WM and you will see what I'm talking about. Ryback isn't in the class of almost all of those major championship belt matches. I know his gimmich is his strength, but I haven't really seen him perform a sound technical match worthy of being considered for that kind of spotlight yet.

Cena/Rock
Taker/Lesnar
OR Punk/Lesnar & Taker/Ryback

Edit: And don't forget HHH!

The Shield's Promos are sick.

Miz busting out the Figure Four was nice.

Velvet Sky's new outfit is crazy sexy.

That is all.

Am I the only one who absolutely hates the Shield promos? I feel like I'm watching an imitation Taliban taunt video. they need to lose the urban commando look and drop the stupid terrorist style promos. Once or twice was fine but it's just annoying now.

I know it's at least different and maybe even "innovative" but dropping the camera and walking away just seems stupid. What they're trying to sell is that they're deep in some catacomb of the arena filming this crap in private, drop the camera and walk away, only for someone to find it in time to air it in the same show? Kayfabe or not, its borderline insulting lol.

Edits:
1) I don't think the table was supposed to collapse like that
2) WWE's officially a joke.

This was overall a Meh PPV.

After the lights went out, I told my buddies "McMahon is going to come out, and the match is going to get restarted. There's 20 minutes left until 11p." Not to mention, Punk going down after JUST the People's Elbow? At least Rock Bottom.

And yes, This Royal Rumble PPV was pretty much wasted as it's just setting up Rock vs Cena, which could have happened without either of them winning tonight.

I did enjoy seeing Goldust again though.

I'm just waiting on Ziggler to cash in before WM.
