Wow. I really appreciate the vote of confidence, this certainly put an unexpected smile on my face. I've never tried to become a mod, but it means a lot to me that even a single person would even suggest it. I also know that even if the other mods had the power to do so they may not want to which I certainly wouldn't take personally. I know that we're all just sort of stuck hoping the license gets renewed and that the admins become even 1% more involved in this site and community we all love. Anyway, I just try to help out in anyway I can when I have time.

Sometimes I look at the boards and feel like I'm spamming b/c I see my name so much but sometimes I post just b/c I'm wanting to give people a reason to still come around even if it's just silly stuff.

I agree we shouldn't be voting on this, but if this site is to continue we probably could use a couple more Mods.

Not that Slinga' isn't crushing it as 100% of the active mods.

I have no interest in being a mod even if asked, which would never happen anyway. I prefer to make friends and spread my influence in my own special way.

I do appreciate all of the sentiments expressed.

aethertech, you wouldn't have to leave, you wouldn't survive the banfest making me a mod would invite. MOTL is already a ghost town as it is.

I think (and I could be remembering incorrectly) that Ben had said at one point recently that mods couldn't add other mods without an Admin/owner. I don't think moderators have that kind of access.
