Hello, new here. Apparently I'll fit right in, from the look of it.As the topic says, I do indeed own one of the foil test print Survivals, and I've tried searching everywhere for any sort of a clue as to the value, but I can't find it, not even in past posts on the boards. It's version "C" if that matters. Once upon a time I read that there were 8 different versions, but I can't find that information anymore either. It's not minty, but that doesn't really matter, I'm looking for an approximation - if it were NM, what would it be worth? Any ideas?

Silver or black border? Most people don't expect them to be NM, as a Lot of the test foils are just that, played and tested. Silver usually run $1000-1200 Black border $2000ishI just recently sold my silver bordered City of Traitors test foil for $1200. Also, there are quite a few more versions of it than 8

Thank you, Viper, that gives me something of an idea.Is there any more information on these cards someplace? Mine is silver bordered, and it's MUCH more shiny than any current foils I have. Someone once told me that there were 70 silver and 30 "dark" ones made. I remember.. Pygmy Hippo, Oath of Ghouls, City of Traitors, Survival. Forget what the white / blue / red ones were, if they even existed.

I didn't know they made test prints with a black bordered front. All of the ones I've ever seen at big events were silver.

I actually think there were only 19-20 variations of the foiling process. Yours sounds a lot like the city I had, that was super shiny.I believe Favian has 2 or 3 black bordered ones http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?action=profile;u=17917;sa=showPosts Edit::: Librarities link to info::

Besides the silver border and the fact that it is from a set that predates the release of foils?$1200 seems a little high. Ben was trying to sell a pair at $1000 and it took him about a year I think. I got one. __________________ Always buying misprints. Have a few of these. I would put this one at 1000-1200. I won't even consider anything lower than 1500 on a bb piece.

$1000-1200 is about right. I have 2 silver bordered ones, including the one that is part of the complete set of exodus foils. It is quite a pain to get rid even at $1k though, you may need to hold onto them for quite a while if you plan on selling.
