I have some stuff I sent away to him, pretty sure that much is legit. Then purchased some cards today, and noticed a lot of variance in the cards signature. The newer cards that are signed by him are a lot different. He creates this 4 part box like signature. However the bottom right potion of the signature looks like a 3 on the newly acquired cards...did he change is his signature??? It doesn't look anything close to his old signature other then doing a 4 part signature.Edit a picture of new card: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v244/implode311/Dragon%20Album/?action=view¤t=001-13.jpg

What you described still sounds like his sig, it varies on how quickly he does them.

Agreed. His lines are usually very long so he has to go fast. A cool note on one of his cards he signs; he has kept a count over time of how many Foil Promo Pro Tour Avatar of Woe he has signed and when he signs one, he puts the number of the actual card he is signing in the signature on the card. I don't know if you ever seen him pull out his index cards, but he actually keeps track of almost every card he signs. When he signs a card fir the first time, he marks first signed on it and make note of it on his index cards. If you happen to give him a playset of cards he signing for the first time, he'll make each as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th signed.

I have a Morphling from the TSP Prerelease way back when.Slight difference - since I only had roughly 5 cards for him to sign, he made the signature more elaborate than the ones you did. Granted, it was probably because I didn't hand him a stack of 100 cards like the guys before me. Bought a Morphling Print, as well, nice guy. BTW, he made Morphling before computer interfacing allowed mirroring of pictures, meaning he did each side by hand. Pretty stellar. __________________ -Schmitty 4th in Refs [247] in OH-IO (22 behind Bmadsen) 2nd in Posts [7002] in OH-IO (only 1100 behind Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

I have gotten many cards signed in person from him at many different events (at least 100+ over many events) and that is the only one I have ever seen him number or have an index card for. That is cool knowledge though, thanks. I will ask him about it next time I see him. Jason

Looks legit to me. I've got several rk Post cards signed from attending some of his Seattle based conventions as well as sending them through the mail to him for signatures. A lot of my cards do have some slight variation between them as well.
