so I have 2 offers on my tropical island. One is my island and a couple other for a box of AVR and a tezzeret, AoB. The other is a tundra(sp-) for it. Which one should I take?

Clearly the box and Tezz. Though I'm not sure who would be making you that offer (and what kinds of drugs that particular person is on).

Might want to be more specific, what else did the other party want for the box of AVR and Tezz?

He wanted The tropical, chandra ablaze, linvala keeper of silence, and chancellor of the annex. And I am still pretty new to the site so still trying to get to know each forum

Take the Tundra or keep your Tropical.

Unless you're more of a drafter than a Legacy player.

While the box is a terrible bet, it has more value then a tropical on its own. Can easily sell for ~90. If you aren't planning on opening it, take the box. If you would open the box if you got it, take the tundra assuming equal conditions on the duals.

I was buying booster boxes for $85 by the case (6 boxes) before Avacyn but now the cheapest I could find them was $92 but that's also buying it by the case. Per individual box would have been $95.

because the value decreases significantly the second you start opening packs. If you're worried about the value of the trade, then it goes you should worry about the value of the box. If you don't care about value, then just ask a magic 8 ball, not this forum. Sealed boxes of most anything at market value are pure garbage.

That's not very good advice though - if you are planning on opening a box, this trade would be a good way to get it rather than buying one.

Except I'd NEVER trade duals towards packs I'd plan on opening unless I was trading them at 1.00 a pack, value is just horrible.

As a sealed box, trade is worth it, otherwise guy owes you like 50.00 still, as you'll be lucky to even break even, if that.

trade the trop for the box, then sell the box and make a few dollars, unless you need the trop then its not really worth the hassle

If I needed the tundra I'd take that, for no other reason than I'd rather have a card I need then to make a few bucks on a trade.
