How did I do in this trade, my:2 geist of saint traft For their: 2 noble hierarch
Also, there was a potential trade that I turned because he valued his older cards too much. He valued his tropical island at 115, bayou at 75, taiga at 80 and was interested in my sword of feast and famine for 21, and drogskol reaver for 1.5. Should I made the trade? I know I need to offer premium for good older stuff but the premium he asked for is too much in my opinion.

20 % premium is sound reasonable IMHO. These numbers is ridiculously too much. I rather buy these duals from MOTL or other places which the prices are lower than his stated price. Speaking of that trade pile, i will take Noble Hierach pile. __________________

Value is about the same but I would take hierarchs.

Value is same, but would take hierarchs (but that is because I don't play much standard (or magic..).. If I was to play a ton of standard, then the geists have way more value.Also that's a ridiculous premium on legacy stuff. Not all standard stuff is the same (i.e. high volume standard should be equal to 90-100% of legacy).

I'd take the Hierarchs and turn down the other trade. MAYBE 10-20% premium if you're trading up and that totally depends on what you're both trading. The only way I'd ever give those value on the duals is if I was trading a big pile of 0.50-1.00 cards or bulk rares. And that's still even a maybe.

Noble Hierarchs easily.Expect at least a 20% premium when trading up for duals, but even then, those prices are pretty inflated.
