Signed cards rarely bring a premium, sometimes the opposite.

Jerry does sign via mail...No or just a small premium. The reason you don't see a lot of his sigs has to do with the low number of cards he did and that he doesn't show up at the Conventions.__________________ Collecting signed cards. Don't post if you don't know wtf you're talking about.

I'm confused by your response.. I've never got or given a premium for signatures on anything. I've owned multiple power pieces and purchased them for no more than a regular or even less. Perhaps there are some rare artists who never sign that I don't know of but otherwise?

You're doing it wrong, then. Edit: lol, that's what happens when you open a tab and don't reply right away.

If I've never given a premium and got the cards, then I'd say I was doing it right, then. I'd be willing to take a look at consistent evidence showing that signed cards, in general (not just working with the minority of people who care about it), bring a premium to non-signed cards. I mean...really... is the average person going to pay you more for a play set of standard playables? I'm not. If the average person paying more for a signed EXC moxen or other P9 card? No. I think you're talking about the exception, not the rule, but I look to your evidence to suggest otherwise.

Evidence is anecdotal, at best. I have consistently gotten more for signed cards in trade, unless it's stuff signed by Dan Frazier or others of the "common" signatures.

Evidence is anecdotal? I'm left with nothing else to say since this is clearly a case of "my opinion is more accurate than your opinion" despite no evidence to support otherwise except personal experience...

I am sure you could check completed ebay auctions for signed cards and compare them with their unsigned brethren. There are definitely people who will not pay a premium for signed cards. But there are many who do. I expect to pay a small premium when acquiring signed cards. If I can get a signed one for same price as an unsigned one, great! The majority of sellers do not do that however.

My eBay sales history disagrees with you.

It sounds to me like those who pay more are just interested and they will pay a premium but the average person will not pay more and only expects more when selling to that 'type' of collector. Regardless, thanks for your comments minus Thanos is a merely a tool for such **** responses among his other negative qualities such as artist stalking.

I would not pay a premium for this. IMO the card got ruined. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-Signed-Spiritmonger-Apocalypse-Near-Mint-MTG-/200657886536#ht_610wt_878

Remember those American Express ads.As an example Original Magic the gathering art (always signed) - $1000 - 50,000+. Artist Proof art (almost always signed) - $5-$1000. Artist Print (signed/numbered) - $40. Unsigned playable MTG card - $5 Getting it signed because you like the art...priceless. Value is in the eye of the beholder. Regards...Greg
