Topic: Alt. 4th Serra Angel Value?

Like the title says....I picked up a couple of alternate 4th edition cards yesterday and wanted to get the price on them...the angel in particular. I've seen anywhere from $14 - $20 on the angel and I just wanted a little better confirmation from collectors. I figure the blasts are a buck a piece....?Serra Angel

The Serra would be condition dependent. If NM $15-$20 to the right person. The blasts are $1 each on the high end.

Most alt 4th collectors, if they built their collection from decks, probably already have one, since it was well represented in the alt. 4th decks as an uncommon. But if it is NrMt, $12 to $14 might be possible.The alt 4th Serra angel is probably best sold to someone who needs it for an Angel collection. Four years ago it would have sold at a very nice premium, but the general decline in Serra pricing has had an impact. And the fact that it had value, even as a regular 4th edition card, when few could figure out what alt. 4th was about, means that most copies were saved. Still a nice pick-up, as alt 4th will likely grow in value over time because it is a scarce set. (if you don't think so, try to complete one!)

If mint, the Serra Angel should be $15 at a minimum (don't sell for less than my posted buy price!) but not more than $20 since they are available from a reputable retailer for that. Blasts likewise I think $1 is about fair, but there are almost 30 of them available at that price from Starcity and ABU, so it's hard to get excited about buying them.__________________

Thanks for the advice. They are all minty. I picked up 2x of the blue blasts and 1x of the red blast for $.25 ea. I got the Serra for $.50. I have a guy that collects Serra Angels, so I think I can get $20 in trade for it from him. That's my main goal.jj

I also collect Serra Angels as well. I would do 17 in trade for her. That seems like a fair price, as it's roughly inbetween the low and high prices going for her.
