I was wondering what the value of a mox ruby that has a creased corner and also had it's border colored in black. There are also pictures of him performing the light test, I'm reading up on what I should be looking for and it looks legit but I just wanted to make sure from people that are more familiar with older cards. Any ideas, advice, opinions, thoughts, etc... are all welcome. Thank you! http://imgur.com/a/6Tppn

Ya, that's pretty rough, but I'd agree. Good to see that's all you paid for it. When it has been inked that much, remind me how to tell difference between it and beta?

Dont believe any so called tests. The only way to tell authentic cards is to see them under magnification.I have had fakes of Beta duals that pass light, water, bend, and even UV. But have yet to see a card that is a fake with the right print pattern

I don't think guy was trying to rip me at all, if it's a fake he probably didn't know it either. The first thing I'm going to do with it when I get it is do a high resolution scan to look at the dot pattern.

The whole thing seems suspicious to me. He took a lot of photos, but none of the photos are really that great and too much attention is drawn to the "light test". Although the pictures are not the best, the print quality particularly around the words "Mox Ruby" and "Mono Artifact" makes me think the card is fake.
