Hey Guys,Looking at a White Border Wasteland right now - signed by Randy Bueler. The back says 98 championships. The bottom of the card, just before the white border has a stamp that says 'SB' on it, as well. I've always seen these in gold border, anyone familiar with this white border printing? Check it out: http://imageshack.com/a/img138/9016/e2jc.jpg Acetone or real misprint? Value?

I know thats what you're talking about just with gold, perhaps an error in the deck, never heard of anything like that. **edit** Looking more into this... http://www.magiclibrarities.net/348-rarities-filler-cards-english-cards-images.html#seecard Seems #30 shows what you're talking about somewhat and mentions the tournament deck as well. Couldn't tell you on the value part, obviously an error though.

I don't believe #30 represents what I'm showing, maybe I don't understand what you mean.

look at the edges of the printed brown. that's EXACTLY what an acetoned card looks like. the top border in particular wasnt even done square. there is some brown showing above the gold line where a mana cost would be, but as you move toward the name it shows less and less.this is just an acetoned world champs gold bordered wasteland. Maybe worth about $5 as a cube/edh card. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<@Anusien> Pretty sure New Zealanders are the sheep shaggers <KIP_NZ> Anusien: I'm a kiwi and I've shagged a sheep <KIP_NZ> we kiwi's like our sheep

After seeing the picture, I'm in complete agreement of it just having acetoned used on it, if the link was there in the first place then I completely missed it.

Uh, the SB means it was a sideboard card in a pro tour deck. Also, it's signed in gold by whatever player played the wasteland.

Where did you get this? I'm pretty sure this used to be mine, and that I erased the border; I don't know anyone else who does this to GB cards. I have done this to a number of GB cards, see, for example, these ones:http://i.imgur.com/2Z3CvsN.jpg I have traded off a number of custom white-bordered GB wastelands to cubers/EDH players... at a value of around $5 each (same as regular GB).

Did you just sell your collection to someone last night?

I'm pretty sure this can be done with an eraser and that seems to be what happened here since you can tape off everything except the border and go to town. The card frame doesn't look crisp and clean which leads me to believe this I personally wouldn't touch that card. It's also from a WC deck and should have the WC back opposed to the normal MTG backs so it's not playable at all.
