What is this worth?

I may have a chance to pick up one. It used to be PSA 9 across the board but 5 on centering.

It was taken out of the PSA case.

What ever someone is willing to pay there's not a market price given the rarity. The retail is well over 12k but that price doesn't mean it's selling at that price.

Phew, been a loooooong time since I've posted here. I can say that it's not easy to find a buyer that wants to pay close to the ~12k retail (I'd put actually retail closer to the 10-11 range). I believe I unloaded mine for 8ish around a year ago at GP Denver.

I ended up passing on buying it. On Librarities, several people were questioning the authenticity of this particular one.

Card Kingdom has one for 4k, if that means anything.
Although it's in the case at their store in Seattle, not online

Sounds like a plane trip to Seattle and $4k is cheaper than $10k on a possibly fake one...

Well it wasn't really questioning its authenticity per se, more of saying it is impossible to give an informed opinion without a scan.

If it's still sitting on Card Kingdom's site it's really worth less then $4k. Personally I wouldn't pay more then $2k for one which is the price they've been since 2005.

Just went there yesterday and price is 5k actually. They may have raised it or my eyes could have wronged me. Maybe I stare too much at the sealed beta starter in the same case for 4k.
