My heart about stopped when I looked up the pricing on Revised Underground Sea. It seems to be hitting $250 currently. I have been out of the loop the last few months on pricing. This seems absurd that they are hitting this high. Is it time to sell?

People don't like the Idea of trading a couple blue fetches for blue dual lands. At least that's what it seemed like to me.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. I guess everyone has their selling point. Duals and all Legacy prices have moved up due to Modern pricing of fetches and other cards going up. Wastelands, Ports, and other Legacy and Vintage prices have all seen new higher prices recently. It cannot go on forever. Modern Fetches have faded back recently, so to me that could be a signal to take some money off the table. Good luck with your decision....Greg

Why are you guys talking about fetches? Chas Andres wrote a theory in his article as to what caused the jump in duals that I think is plausible. Basically the increase in Modern prices allowed people to turn those increases/profits into dual lands.

Not for long imo. Supply of FBB duals has been drying up over the last month or two. SCG went from having multiples of every FBB dual to having next to none in stock. ABU's stock has gone way down too. Even MCM has less available now.

How much is a revised set after the dual increases? They used to not hit four digits but I can't find sets since duals are going like crazy.

For German EX or better I think you are right. I know that all FBB duals are on the rise right now so to really pinpoint an exact price is hard so I'm just going for what I really want at the moment. In the states anyways German is the most expensive FBB language followed by Italian and then French but I recently bought my FBB French Taiga at GP Philly for $225 which Italian would have been $250 or German would have been $275 for the same condition.

here's one that's the most recent; http://www.ebay.com/itm/ MAGIC-MtG-REVISED-Complete-Set-INCLUDING-all-10-DUAL-Lands-UNPLAYED-/191131569771?pt=Trading_Card_Games_US&hash=item2c80544e6b up from one that sold for $1200 in Feb and one that sold for $1399 in March, hence my statement.

Ah thanks. Most of them I saw on ebay were either "set of revised 10 duals" that would throw off the filter or better yet "revised set minus duals" and I was trying to hodgepodge the values together to figure out what a set was.

So, what would a FBB playset (40) go for now? Assume SP to NM. Just looking at a range.Thanks...Greg

Just a recommendation, but get a playset of what you need now vs what you want in case the cards jump in price again. I can see Underground Seas gradually increasing in value again and never drop (unless WOTC pulls some shenanigans).

To be honest, snow covered duals delay the rise, not stop it. Now you have 2 necessary cards for EDH (those underground seas didnt stop being good, they just get paired with a new card). You also have legacy decks wondering just how many underground seas they want to play (the answer could be >4). Also this is only @ 1100 with an hour to go: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191137915432?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l4455&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI191137915432.N7.S1.M57.R1.TR3 We'll see where it ends.

very low winning bid. May have something to do with the fact that the seller hasn't sold anything on ebay in over 10 years. All feedback going back to April 16, 2004 has been from sellers. I'll be checking to see if this sale goes thru.

Can't and will never happen, at least with using original dual names and adding snow covered to the name. Maybe I'm over thinking things but this just can't happen with cards like Taiga and Tundra since they already have snow on the picture.
