Did they ever release the Judge Dark Confidant outside of the one wave where they sent 1 to everyone who was certified?

It was a conference promo for a little while, not nearly as widely distributed as the GP promos

Yes it was in the conference packs as a 1 of for awhile. It was never in the the GP/Pro Tour pack.

Dark Ritual and Balance i believe were also sent to all certified judges at one point too. Dark Ritual was in the GP pack at one point from what I heard.

Anyone else not a big fan of the art of this new FoW? I would not want to be seen holding this card. Yuck.

Can we all agree that both the arts are ugly and drop the matter. It's a foil and it's still going to hold a lot of value as a 4x in a loooot of decks, plus cube and edh. Some people who play vintage and legacy spend outrageous amounts of money on cards so there really is no reason it has a limit when the initial run hits the market.

Approximately how many copies will be released? How does that compare to the amount of copies of a prolific foil mythic in a desirable language with a lower print run than english?
Say, jap-kor-rus foils of Liliana OTV or Jace TMS?

there will 1200-1500 copy of fow foil
+ MAY BE un second print for the gp
there less 100 jtms russian foil
this is absolutely not comparable

How would i know without asking, dick.

Does the same number follow, for, say Jap Liliana? Foreign foil Tarmogoyf? Foreign Foil ONS Fetches?
Just wondering if anything like this could have a similar supply/demand to get an idea on a value for FOW.

You're right. 100x more people want FoWs than Russian Foil Jaces.

The first one on eBay was listed less than 3 hours ago and the bids are already over $1000.

Yeah, it's awesome. Dude's all fiery and stuff. Way better than the new crap. New art looks like every other damn counterspell variant.

Not surprised it's over $1k already. All judge foils start way more than they're actually worth and slowly come down. These will settle to about $500 apiece I think in a year (or, roughly 6x whatever an Alliance one is if they continue upwards).

Modern frame original art FoW would have been way cooler IMO, or a black/white original art. But if you're gonna spend $4K+ would you rather have beta duals or foil forces?

Elesh norn tho, now that's a effin cool.

And I bought 2000 of them for 100 bucks. See how easy that was?

Considering, unless ebay is buggy, none have sold there and I don't think any judges got a full playset I find his story laughable.

lots of them up for around 700+ currently. will see where they land.

Many judges will sell theirs. most judges i know could use $700-1000 more then one card.

If I had a dollar for every time you posted about russian foil jtms, I'd have enough to buy a rus foil jtms.

These will settle mid 3 figures eventually, sell if you have them now.
