I'd say price closely correlates to number introduced into circulation. Not only that, but who wants just one of these...you need four of course. I'd be willing to bet there are a few thousand judges, but that could be optimistic.

there's 5000 judges.. but the number of judges who have cert'd others? I think population is nowhere near as high as people think.. © __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

There are less than 1100 judges with the capability to certify other judges at this time.

But each could certify multiples (which is likely?)

Sure, but I doubt they'd get multiples then.I'd guess less than 1000, probably 750-800 copies.

Well if that's the case you've got an upper bound that is less than the number of Alpha black lotus ever printed.

I'd say $500 initially.

Foiling our a legacy deck is no longer an option unless you happened to be one of the few that nabs a playset.

Do we know if they will bring more in circulation through other means, eg as regular judge promo?

They are send out to all judges who have been active since 2005. I think there is going to be more than 700-800.I'd wager a bet that in 3 months, they are 200 each. As soon as casual judges sell. When they are gone, they will be 800-1000 each, in an instant, though.

I'd wager that there will be very few people selling these, and the prices will be insane. I'm betting that the few that end up on ebay will be nothing less that $1k, and more than likely much much more than that.

Yeah, its a foil FOW, but the artwork is not comparable to the original artwork. It will be rare and expensive, but I would rather have the alliances version in any one of my decks.

WRONG! They are being sent out to Level 2 and up judges who certified other judges after 2005. That is a significantly lower number than all judges active since 2005. Starting numbers will be near $1k on eBay and go up from there....especially early on. If they become a foil handed out at future GP's then the price will settle near the $500 mark. Always a 4 of will keep the price up.

If these were ever a gp foil we'd have 10,000 player gps. Id get my mother father and dog a dci number and drive to every gp within 8 hours of me.

I'm pretty sure he means as part of the judge pack at future gps not the gp promos.

They revealed 8 judge promos this announcement including force of will. Force of will is 4/9 in the promo line up. They had a picture with force of will with all the other judge promos.I don't see why people think this will not be included in judge packs.

I would be shocked if more aren't given out. They say the promo is just for the judges who certified others for now, but nothing about more being given out later.

All I read was force of will will be passed out a lot more than the other promos.

Are judge promos usually given out in 2 different waves to all the judges before they stop printing them or giving them out?

Judge foils go into the packet of 6 as 2 ofs, and rotate every pro tour. The conference packet is 4 or 6 cards (depending) and usually 2 cards behind the GP packet. With the release of 7 at one time, (and high level judges got all 7 already) they maybe mixing this up now. Random packets now? As for Helene's tweet. That could mean almost anything. Could be a GP promo, a conference promo (like Confidant), a PT only promo, or just a reward to hard working judges. Or maybe a new incentive to level up.

They will have to hand these out more then any other Judge Promo. This will probably end up the most expensive Judge Promo to date. I personally think the new art looks like some crap from a FTV. Now Elesh, that's something to swoon over!
