Look I'm new to online trading, and this site. I'm trying like hell to find 2 to 3 Liliana of the Veil but nobody seems interested. Here I am willing to give away my entire collection for 3 $60 cards when I have at least $200 of cards up for trade. Basically what I'm asking is how do I get people to take me seriously and actually reply to my post? Am I doing something wrong?

No one is going to trade a Liliana for any combination of cards on your trade list. Offer better cards if you want to trade. Otherwise, sell what you can and buy the LotVs that you need.

Heres why.... your cards total $129.81 on MTGscavenger, with about 1/2 of the coming from BULK rares. So basically your cards are worth around $75 to most people 2x Liliana is worth 111.76 on MTG scavenger. Good luck!

Have you even seen my have list? I have good cards up for trade. There's gotta be at least 200 cards there and about 30 of them together are worth 70 bucks.

just because you can't trade mediocre cards towards much more expensive cards? people don't like trading down their highly playable cards for a bunch of smaller stuff.

What you need to understand is most people trade cards that are worth more than $5 for cards that are worth $60ish. You have bulk cards. People on this site usually trade medium to high value cards for other medium and high value cards. I highly recommend taking those cards and trying to do a trade in at a store or sell them for cash to buy the Lilliana's. Don't complain about a site that is only used for and by serious traders.

I love Morgan, he says everything I want to. To be slightly more constructive, @OP, you'd be better off buylisting your stuff away and getting a trade-in bonus towards the cards than anything else I'd imagine.

The only pretentious thing is you and your buddy sharing your blatant ignorance with one another. The problem is you don't understand people aren't going to trade a highly sought after card that is played in multiple formats for a stack of cards they can get from anyone anywhere. Your cards could be acquired by trading away other cheap stuff while holding on to a valuable liliana. The member who suggested you selling your stuff and buying LOTV is spot on. That's your best option. That being said your little whine fest here has made sure many of us would not want to trade with you anyway. People like to keep drama free. Might as well lock this thread.

Go to a nearby PTQ or GP in your area where many dealers are set up to buy almost anything and everything. Like AVarner said they will give you a trade in bonus usually 20-30% extra towards cards that you need that they would have. Most dealers usually have at least 1 Liliana OTV at a large event that they will sell or trade. It's really a very rare case here on MOTL where you can trade many cheap cards for 1 expensive card. Good luck to you if you wish to stay part of the MOTL community and build up your refs.

I like how when you wanted to trade your pile of garbage for two LOTV you weren't trying to rip anyone, but when the converse doesn't hold true we are trying to rip you. You know I don't think you'll have much luck on pucatrade/salvation with your attitude. Honestly, I wouldn't even trade one of my LOTV for that lot. Nothing I need. A lot of people are probably in the same boat as me where there isn't enough stuff they want to justify trading down a LOTV. Sell your stuff, and you've got 80 bucks or so. Another forty and you have your two Lotv.

Man if his profile didn't list steel worker as a profession I coulda easily mistook his butthurt as coming from a preteen. Everyone was being helpful too, whereas I had seen his list before he made this thread and I really wanted to bash him for even thinking he could get half a lily for his collection haves.

YOU!edit: They are foil Lillies. Get it right. Elspeth has been reprinted several times. With a new printing coming out in a precon. Doubt she will see much play in modern either. Just better things to do with four mana like tWin.
edit2: Were you talking about to the art? Anyway still foil Liliana of the Veil for me. Stockings and corsets>Armor and robes.

Take a step back and maybe use some self awareness regarding how you're coming across to us. Nobody is talking crap about your collection. What we're talking crap about is the expectation that we'll ship you multiple LOTV for that stuff. It's just not realistic. sorry man, but like everyone is telling you, its an honest fact that your collection is not worth what you are asking, and it would probably be easier for you to buy them. the simple fact you attacked everyone for giving you the advice you asked for proves that you are indeed a child.
