My buddy is one of those "I wanna buy your collection, but you tell me the price" type of guys. You probably need to provide the set on the following cards: foil Brainstorm, foil Rout, Stifle, Mirari's Wake, Reflecting Pool, Exploration and Misdirection. I assume they're all from Conspiracy based on the cards you listed, but there are differing values based on set.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. there are tons of methods available via google to find out what your cards are worth.. you want to sell your cards, do your own homework.otherwise, if you're lazy.. I'd say you should sell for $1 © __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

I do know what they're worth, and I am not lazy. I did my book homework and I know that they retail realistically for around $1100. I'm not looking for that number. I'm looking for the number a magic collector would pay for them, and that info is much harder to find. I used tcgplayer and ebay for the $1100 figure, but I know that they will sell for much less than that, so I'm looking for the number a magic player would entertain paying. Not the book or retail value. I guess I kinda thought that's what this board was for.

Sorry, it seems some of our members assume that everyone is aware of all previous conversations that have taken place on this board. The general rule with collections, unless they are primarily high end items, is to total up the combined value on everything worth more than $5 using a commonly accepted source (TCG low, ebay). Then, knock off 20% of the value. That 20% is the tax you pay for getting rid of everything in one sale. Hope that helps. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

Not tcg mid, that is garbage. 20% of off ebay or tcg low.

Thanks Iccarus. That really helps. I was worried that 50% ebay was the socially acceptable nowadays. 20% seems fair.

If you posted that for 50% eBay you would get emails, PMs and bumps for the next ten months. I would ask for $900 and let him offer you down to 775-800.
