I have a Chronicles Blood Moon that has a very obvious printing "blob" on the reverse side. (Carta Mundi's quality control was obviously taking the day off.) It's otherwise in NM condition, but it wouldn't be playable, as it would have to be considered "marked". I suppose it could be used with a proxy.

I would think it would knock down the value as a usable card, but how much? Does anyone think it would increase the value as a collectable?

printing errors do not necessarily drop the card's value. In many cases, it could actually increase the value. Many collectors like to collect oddities and misprints. For a card like Blood Moon, I'd think you'd get a lot of interest. I'd suggest you post up pics.
