Hi MOTL members,I'd like to run some more historical looking analysis on price guides (help chase down inaccurate sales when Raw-N is 1 or less, create historical trends for popular cards, etc). Are previous price guides available anywhere? If not, I would like to request that they be made available. Regards

they are not available. and no, I'd say your request will be summarily denied. why are you here? you're not here to trade. just leeching data? wtf is the point of your request? why dont you save the data on a day to day basis? wtf are your motives? and lets not play games on that one... © edit: I can almost summarily also say, your contributions will be close to zero with data analysis. those that already do this, did not make this large a spectacle of it, they just did it, and gasp, guess what? they worked around inaccurate data by themselves.. you, thus far, the talker, I dont see anything remotely useful coming out of you. ever. __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

Yes, the creator of BLP was kind enough to point me to that site as well - very well done. Thanks to the poster pointing to Apathy House as well.As to coolio's comment suggesting I store the data myself, I have not been a magic player since MOTL has come online, so I didn't have historical data prior to that, thus my request. Some other posters have been kind enough to point me to their stored archives, so I've received data and am making good use of it. To answer the other questions / comments coolio had: - Why the request? If you link two of the feedback threads together (the other thread started by Planeswlk), cards with rawN of 1 combined with historical data could prove useful. I was attempting to access that data so I could do the work. - Working around inaccurate data - again, this request was specifically targeted towards doing that. - Contributions to MOTL. I've been a forum member for 2 months so words like "ever" - not sure how to response to that. But obviously if I see other ways to add benefit to the site other than posting in the suggestions / feedback forum, I'll look for them. Regards
