This seems legit considering it's from an official image that WotC has on their page: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Article.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/products/allproducts Just scroll down to the FTV: Legends line and you can see it as a background for the product information.

Ugh, sounds like way too many reprints of recent cards from what I see here & rumors elsewhere. 4+ out of Alara block? Come on now Wizards.

The best has yet to be spoiled. There will be at least 2 Portal 3K cards and "several" pre Mirrodin cards. We have seen none of those yet. If Xiahou Dun is in the set, it will fly off the shelves.

Where is it confirmed there will be P3K and pre-mirrodin legends? __________________ "I never got any respect at all. My family moved a lot when I was a kid, but I always found them." -- Rodney Dangerfield

From the announcement of the product:quote:
Contents and Details * 15 Premium foil cards, including 7 with new art * An exclusive spindown life counter * A collector’s guide * Each card has been printed using a foil process unique to the From the Vault series. * The 15 legendary creatures are all printed in the current card frame. For several, it is for the first time. * From the Vault: Legends will be available world-wide in English only, and will have an extremely limited print run. * All cards are black bordered and tournament legal. This means that these cards are legal for use in any tournaments where the original printings are still legal. For some cards, it is their first time with a black border.
Being printed with a black border for the first time could only be P3K (no Legends in Starter). New card face is post-Mirrodin, but that would also include the P3K cards in the count.

Sorry, I meant to ask where he learned it would be two P3K cards printed, rather than one or, say, 5. __________________ "I never got any respect at all. My family moved a lot when I was a kid, but I always found them." -- Rodney Dangerfield

It says "cards" will be printed in black border for the first time. That means more than one, that is why I said "at least 2" will be printed. "Several" cards will be in the new frame for the first time. The use of different wording implies that there will be older cards other than P3K printed in the set.

I really doubt they're going to include a <$100 card in there. It'll probably end up being something like Lu Bu, in which case I will not be pursuing this set. Although, including anything with horsemanship seems iffly to me as well. I'm trying to think of what other sets had legends that would be in black border for the first time and not coming up with anything, but maybe that's because it's late on a Friday afternoon. Don't forget there are tons and tons of cheesy legends from...Legends that can be tossed in as well. Not that I expect to see more than a couple, but one of the elder dragons seems likely. Plus, there's always the preview card in the FTV, so yay a legend from Innistrad!

Personally I think that the P3K Legends will beHua Tuo, Honored Physician Sun Quan, Lord of Wu I don't think that they'll reprint Xiahou Dun.

I don't think it'll be the blue guy because we've already got Teferi as a mono blue dude. Seems like they'll do one of every mono color. So given that, I think the P3K guy could very well be the first dude you mentioned. I'm basically praying they don't reprint a guy with horsemanship, which kind of narrows it down.

If they don't print Xiahou Dun, then the set isn't going to sell. You may see the first FTV set selling below MSRP. I also don't see them reprinting any of the legends with horsemanship.

Well, so far they have not managed to get my attention at all so you might be right. Sharrum, Kresh, Progenitus and Rafiq are so recent they just aren't exciting. Kiki-jiki and Teferi are not exactly hard to find either. Add the new legend from INN and you have almost half the set filled with stuff that is really no big deal. This might be the first FTV I don't buy.

The price on a normal foil progenitus and kiki-jiki alone will guarantee the set will sell. Both are $30+, so if you can get this set for anything reasonable then its worth while if you want to get foil versions of these cards.

People aren't going to pay a big premium for FTV cards. Many times they sell for less than the regular non foil versions. Without a big card like Berserk or Mox Diamond, this will be FTV Fail.

That's my feeling as well. Which makes me suspect there will be some big Legendary hit in the set. Something expensive like Volrath's Stronghold or Rofellos that's not on the reserved list. :P __________________ Swamps suck. Mountains rock!

My point is that if it's not Xiahou Dun, then what other legend not on the reserved list is going to make this set sell?

According to the panel at Comic-Con, the P3K Legend is Sun Quan, Lord of Wu. So not Xiahou Dun. I'm still surprised they chose someone with horsemanship - especially one that gives it to all your creatures!I suspect that's going to be the chase card of the set, as he seems to be a pretty good commander - although that's low for the "premium" card of a FTV (currently at $27). Good guess psrex!!

Yeah, I could see him in some sort of UG tempo deck. Maybe something with Edric as the commander. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

I was at the panel, awesome one btw. Anyways, I could have sworn one of the panel members made a quick comment about Sun Quan being one of the P3K legends in the FTV set, which would imply there would be at least one more. I can't confirm this 100% though, as it was a quick comment. if anyone else at the panel could confirm this (or not), that would be much appreciated. Anyways, it was also revealed that Doran, the Siege Tower is also included. --Evil __________________ I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.
