I put this together, but haven't had a chance to play it (my shop was closed last Friday):B/R Zombies: 4 Blood Crypt 4 Dragonskull Summit 4 Rakdos Guildgate 10 Swamp 4 Gravecrawler 4 Diregraf Ghoul 4 Rakdos Cackler 4 Blood Artist 4 Geralf's Messenger 4 Falkenrath Aristocrat 4 Searing Spear 4 Pillar of Flame 3 Brimstone Volley 3 Bump in the Night I had all of the cards pre-rotation, but I have very few cards for UWx control. I have 2 Detention Sphere, 4 Terminus, 4 Snapcaster Mage, and all the lands, but have neither Tamiyo nor Jace, no Entreat the Angels, and very little RTR stuff (only one Azorius Charm, for example).

Jund Midrange. I also want to build a BUG Walkers deck with Jace, Tamiyo, and Vraska but I'm probably going to have to wait until Gatecrash comes out so I can use duals that are better than the MX & INN duals. And depending on what Gatecrash has to offer, I'm also goin to try a BUG Zombies deck. I just need zombies, because I traded mine (and a lot more) in to a dealer at states to get 3 REV duals.

tamiyo and varaska fight for spots on the curve, and tamiyo wins hands down. Varaska is just so-so. I'd stick w/ the better walkers like garruk (either one) or liliana. I played Junk at states going 6-2 finishing 16th. Main feature of the deck? 4x Collective Blessing. So much fun watching my opponent squirm when it stuck.

I've actually been having some fun with BRG Zombies. Considering I didn't have a clue about Type 2, I feel like it's doing pretty well. Still needs some tuning, but tonight ran:Land - 22 4x Blood Crypt 4x Overgrown Tomb 4x Dragonskull Summit 4x Woodland Cemetery 4x Cavern of Souls 2x Swamp Creatures - 26 4x Diregraf Ghoul 4x Gravecrawler 4x Slitherhead 4x Lotleth Troll 3x Blood Artist 4x Geralf's Messenger 3x Falkenrath Aristocrat Other Spells - 12 3x Abrupt Decay 2x Dreadbore 2x Tragic Slip 3x Brimstone Volley 2x Bonfire of the Damned Anyone see anything obvious that I'm missing?

American Miracles is funny. I play Slaughter Games and we go to game 3 on the spot because they have no way to win anymore. UBR Arcane Melee is where it's at.

-1 Abrupt Decay (card is very situational in t2 right now) -4 Slitherhead -2 Overgrown Tomb (too many shocks. you don't want to kill yourself in the mirror, and you can't afford to let them come in tapped) +4 Rakdos Cackler - the 2/2 for 1 is a lot more relevant in games where you don't draw Lotleth Troll +3 Swamp - 22 lands is really pushing it in a deck without any cantrips. Also - Consider moving Abrupt Decay and Dreadbore to sideboard in favor of 4 Searing Spear. The 3 damage to the face can be relevant, and in a lot of matchups it performs the same role as those two cards.

this isn't the case any longer. The original incarnation had just the entraet to win with, however a tamiyo emblem + jace + wrath is essentially a win con as well. Everyone that I talked to at states playing American Miracles mentioned having alternate win cons when I brought up slaughter games. There were a lot of angel of serenity, one dude was running a single gisela, and there was even some large U/W fliers played against me. The odd part is I can't recall if they were Archon of the Triumvirate (I think they were) or Drogskul Reaver (I think they should have been), but I killed them on the spot not knowing exactly what they were.... oops? hah

Cyclonic Rift and Mystic Retrieval just timewalks them all day long if they want to try and win by planeswalker, and if they 0 a Jace, Memory Adept at me - they just give me more gas to kill them with.- I also pack Psychic Spiral in the sideboard (because that card makes the control mirror HILLARIOUS) UBR Arcane Melee!!! Get some!!!

That deck looks comedically mana hungry and contains 9 ways to make a token that cost less than 6 with 8 cards that are basically dead if you don't have a token. I would say lower the curve and play stuff like gather the townsfolk, garruk relentless, midnight haunting, mayor of avabruck. Just to make sure you don't swing and miss on populating.
