http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg%2Fdaily%2Farcana%2F1430I know its been talked about but there are some spoilers and info. So 210 cards in the set with 65 being new and 13 of those not legal for play outside this draft format. That leaves 145 reprints! I see an excuse to reprint more modern cards... or even legacy. What should we expect? I have a feeling zen fetch lands may make it in...

I think Zendikar fetches would be bad for a casual draft product because they create too much incentive to draft-for-value rather than make a good deck. Leave them for a fall set or Modern Masters 2.I'm expecting a lot of commander-friendly rares/mythics.

This. I don't expect anything insane. It would just trash on the entire point of drafting.

There was a sort of sarcasm in my statement that I guess didn't convey lol. Just wanted to see the people complaining about if and when there is a reprint would jump in. I do doubt that zen fetches will be in. But it is an excuse to reprint anything so you never know. Modern omissions so far: Serum visions (though I do expect a reprint in the next set) Remand Damnation Fulminator mage Bitter blossom Fetches Filters I don't expect any heavy hitters in legacy/vintage due to values as stated above. Knowing multiplayer, it will be all jank for constructed play but fun for casual.

wotc wants to sell packs, players need a reason to buy packs.... and you're telling me having valuable cards is bad? I'm somewhat suspect of that argument. I'm a lot more willing to draft when you can win w/o having to play a game.

Modern Masters had a $6.99 MSRP and a limited print run. Conspiracy has a $3.99 MSRP and an unannounced print run. Expect much lower value per pack. There will probably be a few valuable cards in this set. I would be amazed if they reprinted any card currently going for over $20 unless it is a mythic, and I don't think we'll see a reprint of any card worth more than $30 (with an exception for True Name Nemesis)

A reprint this quick on TNN is not going to happen. They want this to be fun to draft. TNN just ****s on all that. They will probably print good cards at the common/uncommon level. The rares could go either way on playability.

But it won't if it's suppose to be a multiplayer format.

I've always thought they would do horizontal lands in the next "Un" style set, which is this is looking to be somewhat like (art is face up when tapped).Thought it would look neat.

Interesting concept!I could see them reprinting oblivion ring, that was always fun to use in draft format. Do you think they will make any walkers? That could be interesting..... Why won't they just bite the bullet and extend the art to the ends of the cards for this set only? That would sell ALOT of packs, don't ya think? Your friendly neighborhood Excalibur!

Thanks must have missed that. Is $135 good? Seems like there will be a lot of product. One guy has 48+ for sale with a few sold. I guess it all depends on how fun it is to draft and how good the new eternal cards are and reprints. But I can see sealed boxes carrying a premium in a few months to a year if stock drys up.

Will there be a lot printed or just one print run?

It has been confirmed that the print run will not be limited.

The retailers have been given a short intro by WotC:"The printrun is limited and the set can only be sold by sellers who also run a real game-store." The quote is from Games Island, Europes largest MtG retailer. They usually base their blurbs to the WotC email. I don't have any other info on the set, but I would guess that WotC has the possibility of making a second print run, if the first sells well, but after that there's no window for printing more, as both M15 and the Autumn expansion need to get printed too. In Europe the presale price is stable around 87,5 -90 €. I bought mine at 120$ each shipped (87.5 € each).

I like this statement somebody made on Rosewater's blog:"jeffderek said: Remember folks, they said the same thing about Commander 2013 and Mind Seize is still impossible to find on the shelves, and a single still costs more than the MSRP of the package. Keep your hopes up, but don’t expect too much."

You do know they reprinted it and the new 5 packs ship with 2 Mind Seize in them now? The market is about to be flooded with them.... Note the price of TNN is $25 on SCG now which is less than MSRP... I did not know that (source?), but I still haven't seen Mind Sieze at a store yet. I don't know what your definition of "flooded" is but I don't foresee many retailers restocking 4 packs that don't sell well just to get the two Mind Sieze packs.

TNN has drooped and all of the packs are readily available here. They have figured out current demand and I think Conspiracy will also be readily available, hopefully for less than the inflated prices being touted right now.

This set is starting to look a little ridiculous. Some of the reprints making their way in are sure to result in a huge demand. StP, Brainstorm, Misdirection, Exploration...all available in foil.http://mythicspoiler.com/cpy/index.html __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles.
