On drafting, any of you figured out what the secret is of drafting Zendikar Rising online? I seem to get a nice deck together but can't even rake up 3 or more wins each time, which haves me raking gold for the remainder of the week to start a new draft.

Well it's been a rough year. I was diagnosed with cancer in June - stage IV mantle cell lymphoma - so 2020 and I aren't getting along very well.

It's been an interesting life-changing experience so far though. I've been focusing on family and finally pursuing my biggest dream - becoming a writer. I wrote a trilogy... and rewrote it... and am rewriting it again while focusing most of my efforts on something I'm terrible at - marketing myself. I have a sweet website up and running though and am trying to gain some traction in various social media. It's slow going.

I've pretty much lost interest in mtg though so now I gotta figure out how to sell my cards. Not a big market for them where I live.

Damn, so sorry to hear that. Congratulations on the writing. Maybe someone with SEO (Search engine optimization) skills can help drive traffic to your site. In the mean time I'd link to it from everywhere. What's the trilogy about? Do you have a youtube channel you want to link to or anything?

The trilogy is a series of fantasy novels that take place on the ocean floor, miles beneath the surface. The depths are brightly lit by magical, glowing fish and vegetation, and my protagonists live in a domed city that thrives through the use of a magical crystal ore that allows them to manipulate water. On the site there's blurbs for each book and an excerpt for chapter 1 of the first one. It's a pretty fun world to write about.

I'm sure there's a market in the main gaming areas. I don't know if NY, CA, and the Ohio Valley are still the top places in the States.

There is a book I've wanted to write for nearly 2 decades now but I wouldn't bank on it happening b/c of how much research it would take to do it justice.
