Mods generally don't tell members what their karma rating is because it would encourage people to break the rules.

Members promoted to mod always have a long history of positive karma. You see, people who show a history of being helpful around here get promoted.

*That's not necessarily a bad thing, most member never get positive karma.

I've helped a lot of people on here over the years so that's a little disappointing.

On the other hand I've been on here over 15 years and don't even know how people get positive karma. If I ever did I've forgotten :-\
