I'm finally getting around to posting some of the random "stuff" that I have accumulated so I can sell it on here. However, I need to know some prices since this stuff doesn't sell very often... Thanks for any help you can give. I want to figure out the prices I can put on these so they will sell on MOTL and not sit in my room forever. Here goes:

1998 World Championship Deck – Brian Selden's Recurring Survival deck. Deck has been opened and lightly played. All cards are present, including the blank cards (but these have been written on). Notable cards: 4x Survival of the Fittest

2000 World Championship Deck – Jon Finkel's Tinker deck. Deck has been opened and lightly played. All cards are present, including the blank cards (but these have been written on). Notable cards: 4x Metalworker, 4x Grim Monolith, 4x Rishadan Port

2000 World Championship Deck – Tom van de Logt's Replenish deck. Deck has been opened and lightly played. All cards are present, including the blank cards (but these have been written on). Notable cards: 3x Enlightened Tutor, 4x Replenish, 4x Rishadan Port

2004 World Championship Deck – Julien Nuijten's GW Astral Slide deck. Deck has been opened and lightly played. All cards are present, including the blank cards. Notable cards: 4x Windswept Heath

Group of miscellaneous cards from the “Battle Royale” boxed set. Not complete decks. There are 4 deck boxes, but not all the cards are there. The cards that are present are in NM- condition from what I can tell

Deckmasters: Garfield vs. Finkel boxed set. Set has been opened and played. I have the box that it came in but it is beat up. I have both deck boxes but one has been ripped.

Beatdown boxed set. Set has been opened and played. I have the box that it came in but it is beat up. I have both deck boxes but both are beat up.

46 Cards titled “New Magic: The Gathering Rules Specific to Legends Cards”. All in NM-/NM condition

Apocalypse Alpha Godbook Survey. 6 pages with pictures of cards Aether Mutation - Goblin Trenches (9 cards per page). Thick white sheets of paper with the card images on them and the label "Apocalypse Alpha Godbook Survey" in the bottom right corner. Includes the original envelope they came in with the Wizards address label and the stamp in the corner. More info on this one from my last post in this forum that didn't generate many hits:

Many years ago, I signed up for Wizards' Godbook Survey. Before Apocalypse came out, they sent me 6 pages with pictures of cards Aether Mutation - Goblin Trenches (9 cards per page) along with a survey to see what I thought about the cards. I'm guessing they were just trying to see what players thought about the new set before it was released. I really don't know any more about the survey or these sheets, and Googling does not yield any information.

Are these worth anything? They are basically just thick white sheets of paper with the card images on them and the label "Apocalypse Alpha Godbook Survey" in the bottom right corner. They would be easy to replicate and hard to authenticate. However, I still have the original envelope they came in with the Wizards address label and the stamp in the corner.

World Championship decks look like approximately 20 each on eBay, though most sold are sealed, so 15? each on the opened ones.

Garfield vs. Finkel: many unsold BINs at $100, one at $70 which is $30 lower than all of the rest (but still currently unsold), completed auctions has one sold for $125 and two unsold for $100. I'd probably say no more than $50-60 based on that + condition of your box, but I dunno.

Hope that's a helpful starting point anyway.

Does it matter which deck you have? The Finkel one, for example, has a lot of cards that are valuable if not gold-bordered. I heard on here that gold-bordered cards are typically worth ~20-25% of the value of their regular equivalents. Is this true? If so, then a playset of gold-bordered Rishadan Ports alone is $30! Or is that only true for cards like Force of Will?

Is this one of those items where having it sealed is most important to value and opened ones are worth significantly less? For example, a sealed box of Revised boosters is worth much more as a collectible than if the box was opened. If so, then I could see an opened item being worth less than 50%. If not, though, and people are more interested in collecting the actual cards, then I could see it being closer to 75% of the actual value. If I put it up on MOTL for $60, would people buy it?

In theory, the contents should matter, but from what I could tell on eBay, it doesn't seem to. I'm seeing decks with different names ending at 15-20. But, I don't know the specific decks or the contents within and I don't know much about the value of GB stuff. It looks like any given good card goes from $2 to $10 each, with the highest one obviously being FoW, but it doesn't necessarily seem to be tied to their non-GB counterparts.

I honestly don't know the answer to this question, but the first part seems logical. I'm more worried about the damage, but the sealed vs. unsealed may very well affect the value too.

I don't know if anyone on MOTL will buy it. Remember that MOTL is a fairly limited market. Your item may very well be worth $60 but there's a chance no one here is interested at all in it.

I'm trying to post the Godbook to Magic Librarities, but I'm still waiting for the admins to confirm my registration... When that happens, I'll post an update here, if I learn anything!

Did you send an e-mail to Alexis (dragsamou)? If you don't your registration request will likely just sit there.

MOTL is a good place to move Vintage/Legacy/Modern/T2 staples.

For rare items or that obscure foil that all cube players want, www.ebay.com together with 15% total fee is your answer

When I try to log in, it says my account is currently inactive. I have emailed to get it activated, but I haven't heard back yet... How long does that normally take?

If its any consolation, I've been waiting since July 1st and have contacted two separate people to try and get activated.

Awesome... So much for getting help with the value of my Apocalypse Godbook...

Does anyone know a way to speed up this process? Or can someone please post about my Apocalypse Godbook on the Magic Librarities forum?
