Are they still on the front of the package showing like there were when they first came out?

One wal-mart here had them facing out, there were 3 broodmates and 6 of something else, might have been Brion. The other wal mart had them facing inward. Couldn't get a good look because the pack is bigger than the single. Wasn't going to buy it without being sure.

So what's the talk about Full-Art Mutavault having to do with this? I wanna know since I own one, wanna know if it's time to get rid of it .. lol .

WOTC is sitting on a bunch of them. Speculation is they will release them at some point.

Well, they are going for $500ish on EBay. And Auctions are ending ~$570, so I assume I should be able to get ~$500 for it even after fees, even if I decide to sell on EBay.

Locally there were two types of packs. The one with the promo facing out had Scars, M12 and Innistrad in it, with one of these: Brion, Griffon or Dragon.

The other three packs were promo facing in, tended to contain NPH and some other 2 boosters, and disappeared locally really fast. Those were the ones that MIGHT have had the elusive Exemplar promos in it, but quite often had crap like foil basics.

The '4x that sold for $150' was mine. Kept 4 others for myself, and donated one to the local cube. They have already disappeared from all local Walmarts, but it's quite possible more will show up.

I found 4 at local walmarts. Sold 3 of the dragons already at $17 each, still have one. I had previously bought one of the packs that had the foil facing backward, and it turned out to be junk, some foil common from zendikar. I was going to return it to the store (false advertising, the package says it includes and exclusive promo) but lost the receipt and just opened the boosters for funsies. The new ones with the foils facing out have (in my area anyway) broodmate dragon and retaliator griffin.

Just bought 3 yesterday...

The ones I got were:

7th Thorn Elemental
Jaya Ballard (Media Insert?)
Paleoloth (Conflux)

All foil... all dissapointing =)

The packs had nothing good really either. There was a Zendikar pack in there though. That kinda surprised me.

Mine had 5 in stock w/ the broodmate. They now have 0, heh. packs didn't contain anything that interesting, knew I shouldn't have opened them. Hopefully break even w/ the broodmates on ebay. They've tanked a ton.

I see them selling at $10 -$15 mostly now, with a few outliers a bit higher. Why was this cards so valuble for a little while it's obviously not that rare. They are all over ebay.

it was that rare tho. It was VERY limited in the release the first go around. You would hardly ever see them on ebay. Now they're only worth something because they used to be worth something...

5-10 seems about right, still easily had in stores.

So yeah, I just went to Wally-World and I actually found 3 packs with them in it...

Just curious if these are still worth a damn?

I mean, because honestly, the card doesn't even seem that good (playability-wise)...

if you actually want the packs, then sure you might as well get a free dragon with them. If you're only in it for the dragon, certainly not worth it.

I just picked up 4x of these at $2 each. After this hype, do you think they will go up again later? Should I just hang on to them for a few years or give them up now?

Some walmarts stock the broodmare dragons but many do not. I found 5 at a store about a week ago. A friend of mine found a total of 13 so far.
