I'd be interested to see more what the art will be for Stasis than the fact that it would be foil

I'd be surprised if it were worth $10. It isn't playable anymore, and you can hardly conceive of a casual Stasis deck. I see it more like a foil Psionic Blast. Everybody should have one for pure nostalgia, but there weren't enough people around back then who even feel nostalgia for it now to soak up all of them.

I'd also like to see the Benson Shivan Dragon in there. But heck, while I'm dreaming I'd also like a Chaos Orb.

I hope they reprint birds of paradise again! Those darn things are getting so expensive and hard to find.

I for one want the original art if Statis is included. I think part of the iconic nature of Statis is how ridiculous the art is. Having it in foil is wunderbar.

Are any of the other newly spoiled cards going to be worth more than $5? I can see a bunch of them being worth less than $3. FTV cards are usually about what a non foil version goes for yeah?

Considering REGULAR Venser's $20, the StP foil art is sweet, and Hymn and Fyndhorn go in pretty much every cube, all of those will hold value.

More than $5? The combined added value of the rest of the spoiled cards is probably $100+!

StP, Ritual, Dynamo, and Wire add SO MUCH more value. Underwhelming my butt! It is more overwhelming than under.

Well STP Foils are 40+, Dark Ritual Foils are 50+, Thran Foils are 30+, Wall of Blossoms is 10+, Tangle Wire is 20+

Elf and Hymn have no foils, and are a 4 of staple in Legacy...

Nope, nothing of value here...total jank.

How much do you think they'll go for? I'm looking at the non foil versions for many of them and mostly they are less than $5, with a few being worth about $1. This is what I've been told to expect when inquiring about it in the past. Do you think that they'll go for more?

Either way I'm not interested in selling the swords, Dark rituals, and hymns.

As always, I wish I had an 'in' at a store so I could hope to buy this at a reasonable price.

I'd like to add that the art on Cruel Ultimatum, Gilded Lotus, and Akroma's Vengeance are great, and I'd love for them to be <3$ for my cube and EDH decks, but I doubt it.

let alone the Chainer Edict art is Chainer fighting Major Teroh!

Yes there are 4 or 5 just ok cards (Chameleon Colossus, Wolf Run) in here but every FTV has a few of those.

2- Where did I say jank? One of the places that have said in the past to expect the ftv versions to be about what non foil versions go for is here. I was half asking because I've been out of MTG for a long while and don't know for sure, only what I've read, been told, and have observed through ebay and such.

Nicer? They're giving you a 110-120 card in a 40.00set, plus a bunch of other nice cards. Sure they could have loaded the set with Mana Drain, FOW, Port, ect, but you really aren't dumb enough to expect more big cards are you?

I don't think these foils will have any premium at all over regular finish (maybe 10%), as prev. compilation sets haven't either.
So once again selling x (=19) pieces of crap with a random staple (=JTMS)...
So many better choices were available. The only one I'm happy with is hymn.

This is ok for the MSPR (from a financial aspect), but most of us will pay over $200-300 easily.

So what do we feel is the EV:

Jace-$130-150
Venser $20-30 (on new art)
STP $20
Tangle wire $15
Dark ritual $15 (loved this art)
Hymn $10
Dynamo $10
Elves $7-10
Others ~$5 or less

Not bad I think. I got two at $180 right before the spoiler release.
