Ok, so the other topic is mainly about how Jace would be affected. I wanna discuss something else. For those of you looking to pick up FTV20, what are your target prices?

He asked what price I target and well I target msrp. I won't find any at that but its a target . Every time a baseball player comes up to bat he targets a Home run. The only difference is even a pitcher will hit one some day but ftv will be $200+ here all day.

It may be cost effective for me to call every LGS in morristown Indiana and buy every FTV 20... I will still make money after a $300 round trip flight.

Reasons like this are why I want to quit magic. I've never lived near a shop where this happens. Hell a draft of MM was 35 at my shop...

At least most people live close to a few shops. I live in West Palm Beach, FL and there's only one place even relatively close to me that I know of.

For ftv 20 would $250 apiece now be a decent price?

They are BIN on eBay at $279 quite frequent. $250 may be much. Its tough to say what it will settle at.

Only like 8 of the cards have been spoiled so far right? Does anyone think that FOW could still end up in FTV 20?

Could it... yes. But WOTC knows the demand for FTV 20 would already be through the roof with JTMS, so I dont see any way that they waste 2 of their "ace in the hole" reprints in one set. But stranger things have happened!

I just find it weird that they spoiled the sets biggest card so soon. I'm kind of wondering what they are holding back.

Actually, if you look at most of the recent ftv spoilers, they lead with the bigger value stuff, and leave the full spoiler for the chaff. Granted ftv legends had a TON of chaff.

I feel like Maze of ith was spoiled after urborg and some of the others but I can't remember for sure.

yeah, Berserk was mention very early for Exiled. Some how I still got a box for MSRP.

Still holding out hope that I'll get this one for MSRP.

I personally think anything from 200~250 is reasonable. I feel like that price has already factored in the possibility of it only having Jace, Venser, and Hymn as the good cards. From this point on, even if the rest of the spoiled cards are pretty mediocre, it's ok.

I feel like we'll see some foil Statis/Serra Angels, and that's perfectly fine.

Anyone playing since the days of Stasis decks knows that it's a pretty damn iconic card for magic, for it not to be in here would kinda crazy.

What would a foil be worth? Anything more than $10-$20?

If I had to guess at a few of the iconic cards for magic it'd Hymn, Jace, Counterspell, FOW, and Stasis. Two of those are already in. Anyone think Stasis and Counterspell make it in?
